RIMs/Tyre suggestion for My Honda Civic 2000

Dear All,

I got my Civic 1999-2000 a year back. After all the makeup, accessories and mechanical updates, its now time for some rubber and shoes.

Its my daily use car driven from Clifton to Sharah-e-faisal and back with me alone or some colleague on weekdays. On Weekend it's a family car with very often 3-4 person accommodated. CNG tank is there but not in use.

Currently, stock 13" rims with 3 tire specs of 185/70R 13 and one of 175/70R 13 is installed.

Kindly suggest a perfect RIM size and tire specs i should opt for. I do need a bigger RIM. With above usage, what RIM size would be suitable?

Performance, Fuel average and grip is also important.

P.S: RIM design recommendation will be appreciated

Go for 205/55/15.

As long as the tyres are soft ones and rims are not too heavy, it wont damage suspension. Fuel efficiency will decrease slightly.

P.S: Pics are a not updated as i fixed all the dents and scratches. Rest the car is in original condition with no aftermarket mods.

Go for 205/55/15.

205 doesn't fit easily
205/55R15 is big profile for these cars if they are stock
I'll suggest go for minimum 185/65R14 or maximum 195/55R15

Tried many different profiles on Eg (droped) 205/55R15 is really a big wheel and right now it's running with 205/55R15 but tyres are cambered

EG or EK? Might be difference of dropping Vs. Stock

Eg....actually dropping car with bigger profile is more difficult then on stock....195 profile fits easily and goes inside the fender even on my ae80 corolla 195 fits on stock but 205 touches the archeries(fenders) because of which I had to roll them.

Taking ideas from above comments, i am pretty much clear that i don't want to drop my ride as it will reduce the life of suspensions.

So summarizing the options:
Either 14 or 15 inch RIM size is recommended to go with 185/195 width and 65/70 side walls?

Which brand to select?
How much would a complete set cost me? on avg

Taking ideas from above comments, i am pretty much clear that i don't want to drop my ride as it will reduce the life of suspensions.

So summarizing the options:

A 15" set with 195/55 or a 16" set with 195/50 are the best choice if you want looks and comfort at the same time. Both of these profiles won't hurt the car's suspension and they will be comfortable because these are the recommended sizes by Honda for 15" and 16" rims. The difference between these two sizes is just 4mm so its effect will be almost negligible. If you opt to buy new rims and tyres then it will start from at least 60k but if you can find a good conditioned complete set in used then it will be for around 50k. There a lot of good brands and i would suggest that you buy a used set of rims and new tyres.

195/55/15. New rims Chinese or Taiwan would be in 30K range. Tyres have a wide price range, depends on your budget. Yokohama or Continental I'd suggest.
