RIMs/Tyre suggestion for My Honda Civic 2000

A 15" set with 195/55 or a 16" set with 195/50 are the best choice if you want looks and comfort at the same time. Both of these profiles won't hurt the car's suspension and they will be comfortable because these are the recommended sizes by Honda for 15" and 16" rims. The difference between these two sizes is just 4mm so its effect will be almost negligible. If you opt to buy new rims and tyres then it will start from at least 60k but if you can find a good conditioned complete set in used then it will be for around 50k. There a lot of good brands and i would suggest that you buy a used set of rims and new tyres.

16's are not recommended for a family car brother we are talking about ek civic.More then 15 is only preferred for a non stock car.

Agreed. But unfortunately, car of this old model, OEM rims are only in dreams. If in case i find one, no guarantee of being repaired or stuff.

^ Not really, easily available in tyre shops. Just visit a few and you'll find some.

Guysss, sorry for me not reverting back. was travelling.

So finally had a survey of tyre shops in Karachi and got mixed feedback.

For RIMs, mostly all recommended for 14 size and few for 15.

For tyres, every shop had different opinions. Some suggested Thunder or GT, some Toyo Japan and some bridgestone.

Now what u all guys suggest?

14" set is costing me around 45K
15" set is costing me around 52K

Currently my car is giving me approx 8.5 KM/L on 13" stock tyres.

If i go for 15". how much impact will it have? and what about shocks?

If you go for 15 then 185/65/15, you should invest in getting good tires not chinese knock offs. Tires are only contact of the car with ground.

Yes it is not noticable.but if you go for 15r then tyre profile should not exceed 185/65

Yup.185/65 is what i am thinking of.

Only stuck with 14 or 15.

Looks will be in 15 for sure.

Spending this much; its just matter of to compromising on looks or car's avg/wear and tear
