i am looking for a pair of front shocks for my 95 civic... but i dun really kno how much will these shocks stiffen the ride... since u have used it.. could u give me a little more detail on it?

These are not normal shocks, these are coilovers and mind you these are stiff. Won't recommend for a daily driver if you have bad road conditions in your area. Otherwise these are very good coilovers, get them if your car is your personal car but do keep in mind, these sure are stiff.

a valid question...if you install these and LOWER the ride to full...you will not feel the stiffness. but, if you raise the height of ure car then it will get all stiff...as u can see...if the rings are near the bottom of the thread, the spring will have more room to open...thus max available softness. but these are stiffer than the normals ones anyway. but not that stiff. like rock stiff they arent.

i honestly dont know how much these are used, i bought them second hand from Dubai...and brought them with me. cleaned them up...and installed...they are perfect in every sense. i m just going to get a complete same set of 4, thats why lettings these go.

thanks for the info... i dun really wanna lower my car cause the pot holes and speed breakers of karachi wouldnt allow me to do so for a daily driven car... the problem i'm facing is ever since i swapped my stock engine (d15b carby) for a b16 obd0, my stock shocks cant take the added weight cause of which the car is automatically lowered from the front and even slight undulations in the road have a big impact on my suspension (its just too damn soft and springy)... i have been looking for a cost effective solution, but cant come across any in the limited budget i have...
any good suggestions or advice would be highly appreciated..

Install these coilovers on the front, It wont lower the car much compared to the Stock you have right now, will provide stability as well since these coilovers will be perfect with a B16. You can get Lowering springs for the rear or get coilovers for the rear as well to balance out the height then

Rohan Saeed is absolutely right.
the added weight cannot be withstood with your stock shoch absorbers and suspension. a coilover front set is a must for you. the added weight will cause troubles in acceleration and braking specially, these coilovers will provide more stability and better acceleration and braking.
u can adjust the height with these coilovers, they are NOT all rigid...my car although a project car was my daily driver university going car. so its not that harsh.
plus i wonder why u are looking for a cost effective solution, when u have put in an over one lakh worth of motor in the car of yours and you are looking for a cost effective way to fully compliment the performance of your motor and car.
get coilovers at any cost...not necessarily from me, get from anyone, but do get...its a brotherly suggestion, it will do wonders to your acceleration, handling, and most importantly braking, as it will reduce the elasticity in the springs which are clearly not meant to handle the stress being imposed on them by your heavier and much more powerful motor.

One more thing, these specific ones are Street Tuned, so ride comfort is still not sacrificed a lot unlike other coilovers, even my Tein SS are stiffer than these.

The coilovers of any good brand always last longer than stock shock absorbers, because they are build to be abused and driven under abnormal circumstances, also the fact that coilovers installed on vehicles are lowered and they dont let the shock abosorber open all the way to the top of the shock...this thing increasing the life of the shock absorber in the coilover...they even have heavier duty shock seals that prevent from faultering and leakages.
