which is more better?? many people claims that kixx is not good for cars?i am using suzuki engine oil 10w 40 but i am not satisfied with it on my cultusso i want to switch on zic or kixx??need suggestions and recommendations??
Bhai, cultus is a very old car. Its engine is of 80's tech. Do not use any oil over the API-SG specs..i have done alot reading and research on my own for this that for flat tappet/rocker type setup (as in cultus) it needs a special additive of Zinc and Phosphorus (zddp) to keep the cam and tappets in full 10/10 condition and this additive is missing in API-SM and above rating of oils..so best oil is always SGO premium for cultus as its API-SG.
But brosuzuki motors already using SGO API-SM ultimate oil in my cultus??and which model of cultus you have??

Suzuki has no other option but to use their own oil.

You talking about this Total one? I use it for my Liana as it needs API SN and the SGO API SG one in my Cultus efi..Although both have same viscosity but API rating has alotttt of difference...Cultus need ZDDP which is totally absent in Total oil (as its SN) and Liana is without tappets so need different additives and no zddp..

API SM Ultimate is NOT for cultus...they use it just cuz its expensive and they earn more
Yes 5000 total SN grade is superior in properties n better for performance Plus very less chance of getting fake total oil

Use the SGO one in right side as shown in my attached PIC...the SGO Premium...its compatible with tappet engines
But SN lacks ZDDP which is required for old school flat tappet rocker engines as cultus...definitely SN is superior but not suitable for Cultus's old engine type
Agreed SN grade wld work best with slightly modern engines

Follow API requirements...always keep it below API SM level...e.g. API SG is best...therefore keep using SGO or any equivalent API grade of other brand
API SG of Suzuki (premium) is for Mehran, alto, cultus with tappets.
API SM of Suzuki (ultimate) is for modern engines like of Liana, swift, wagon r, Jimmy...
