Zero meter Land cruiser under one crore is possible if toyota wants

Hello everyone as you guys know that toyota landcruiser is one of the most expensive cars in pakistan due to the custom which is 200% or 300% i am not sure so it costs 38900000 but if toyota adds one or two more seats then the custom duty will be 20%! According to the policy Which then the land cruiser will reach the price of approx 9600000rs this is how the kia grande carnival got its price of 6500000 by adding more seats in the pakistani version or else it would have cost 1.5 crore and more easily. If this is possible please make this message reach to the head of toyota Indus so that he take some measures it will make a huge difference in pakistan automobile industry many people with normal salaries will think of buying where as now we can buy a luxury flat from that price i hope Pakistan auto mobile industry reach hieghts InShaAllah and Aameen

Bro the guys at toyota indus will surely know about this rule if there is one. Carnival isnt built like a land cruiser so it will obviously be cheaper. Where did this rule come from?

Land Cruiser's base price is around 1 crore 40 lacs which means that after 20% tax, its cost would be around 1 crore 70 lacs.
But, where would they add the two extra seats?

The LC200 is sold with 8 seats complete with 8 headrests and SRS belts, how many more seats are required to get the duty exempted?

The seats would be added in the trunk same as kia managed to do so the rear seats arent available in any country except pakistan due to the customs

Kindly show us the rule. If this is possible then definitely its a great option but sounds too good to be true. Seats can be easily added. They just need to add small temporary seats. People will remove them and install larger seats after buying the lc

Only if it's 100% manufactured/made in PAKISTAN then it will cost way cheap then what it cost right now

Adding more seats or more seating capacity will or will not effect the price I don't know about it but what I know that these local vehicles are increased in price cause of using imported parts/components.

So the 9th seat needs to be in the first row, the center arm rest to be converted into the seat, the pedestal to be shortened to accommodate for the leg room.

By they way Yukon and Taho have those front row center seats as their shifter is mounted on steering column. Are they selling cheap in Pakistan.

I read the rule but i cant seem to find it now but its common sense that the kia grand carnival is more than 3000cc so its price should be 200% higher then the price is right now it is being sold with only 20% higher price than outer countries

They are not available in pakistan if gmc and chevrolet brings their companies here they would be cheap

Land cruisers even if manufactured in Pakistan and sold at 1 crore will not be feasible for toyota indus. They wont be able to sell a large number of units to hustify the huge capital investment required to build a land cruiser plant.

If a customer can buy a used land cruiser for 2 crore he will be definitely able to buy one for 1 crore which would be 0 meter

Look at the number of land cruisers in pakistan they are in 1000 of number now a adays although they cost about 4crore brand new and about 2 too 3 crore used
