We are back with another owner's review, and today we are here with Yamaha YBZ DX, 2021 model. This review will discuss the features, engine power, smoothness, and maintenance cost of this bike.
Engine
The bike has a 125cc engine with a double butterfly carburetor. Meanwhile, the company has installed outer pull clutch technology in it. You have two options to start this bike's engine, i.e., self-start and kick start.Suspension and Road Grip
The performance of this bike's suspension is excellent as it has 132mm front shocks, while the rear suspension is 95-105mm. Furthermore, the road grip of the bike is perfect.Brakes and Tyres
If we talk about the brakes, the company has installed a disc brake at the front, while the rear wheel has a 124mm drum brake. Meanwhile, the front tyre's size is 275/18 and the size of the back tyre is 90/90/18, and both tyres are from Servis company.Competitors
The bike competitors include Suzuki GD110, Honda CG 125 Special Edition (S.E), and Yamaha DX. "But I bought this one due to its disc brake, good rear drum brake, and comfortable seat," the owner said.Handle Switches
On the right side of the handle, you will find the switches of self-start, parking, and headlight switches. While on the left side, you will have indicators, horn, and a low/high beam.Meter
The bike's RPM meter is sensor-based, which is a good thing as other bikes have a wired one, and that doesn't look good. Then you have a fuel gauge and gear indication in the middle, and on the left-hand side, you have a trip meter.Headlight and Rear Light
The company has installed a halogen front light and its visibility at night is excellent. And it is not accelerator connected instead linked with a battery. Meanwhile, the bike's rear light is quite sporty, and its visibility is quite good, especially at night.Maintenance
As per the owner, the maintenance cost of the bike is very low as he has gotten its oil changed once after 1,000 kilometers.Fuel Average
The owner told us that this bike gives 52-53km/liter on the long route, while its within city average is around 45-46km/liter.Resale Value
The owner bought it for Rs. 175,500, and he still gets an offer of the same amount. Hence the resale value of this bike is excellent.Watch Video
