Windscreen scratches removal

is it possible to remove windscreen wipers scratches completely,
any body have such experience to share?

I once used Cerium Oxide powder with a buffer to remove about 95 of the windscreen scratches on a civic...
It created a lot of mess. In a hindsight, Cerium Oxide with a Dremel tool would've been perfect. But you really need to keep the heat under control.
There are some other pastes and kits available online you can try them too. Not sure who does it in Lahore.

if you're in lahore or Isb, there are a few options. Shan windscreen , google them they're good.

I did both mine honda city and cultus from them, 99% gone and one hideous wiper scratch also gone which was so bad that i thought it cannot be removed. Cost is around 1000rs

Yazdani Motors. I'd had a bit of experience with them so I trusted them with it. I would've been ok with any kind of improvement cuz they were pretty bad, and night driving was a bit of a problem. But to my surprise they completely vanished.

What you are suggesting is impossible. Either you got used to it to notice any changes or that you accepted ok visibility vs vision. It might be yazdani replaced the windscreen for you too. Whereas incredible changes can be felt in the day through buffing , any night time changes will be worst by chemicals. Glass has pores like skin anything penetrating the first layer of defence in lamination glass will mean comprised glass at night. Day will seem magic , night will haunt you especially o. Highways.

I already mentioned that it's been 2 years since that. And of course it's my windscreen, I can tell windscreen change as I had to do it a couple of times in my 8th Gen Civic. Shouldn't jump to conclusions on someone else's car.

Is it safe? I got my civic's(97) windscreen buffed and almost all the scratches vanished. But after about 3-4 months because of an accident had to replace the windscreen. So I've no idea how good/bad is it in the long run. Can you please comment? Have a degraded windshield on our 2010 city, that needs the procedure.

I can't really be sure about that. As I said, it's been 2 years since, and my car is mostly parked in the sun. And with that 2.4 liter engine speeds like 120-130 are easy even within the city, and so far so good.

I've had previous experience with them and normally if I ask them to do some job which they think is not the right thing to do, they just refuse it. That's why I plunged into it, and while they only claimed a little improvement, I was actually surprised to see a major improvement.

Sorry I am a little confused. Is the current state of windshield as good as it was when you had the procedure done 2 years ago? Because of if it's mostly scratch-less up till now, we can call it a good long term result.

Yes it is just as good. Though I've stopped using wipers unnecessarily in both my cars because it is so dusty, even though I always add windshield washer additive along with water in the windshield cleaner bottle. And of course I do use wipers during rains. This is a random pic I just took while I was reading your post:

There seems to be distortions on your windshield. The sunlight and a horizontal line of blurness can be seen in your picture. Can be caused by your camera too. Khair , if it's working out for you then great.
