Why amp draw of my 0.75 ton ac is high? Help

Salam ,
I have an old 0.75ton window type ac which is actually 580watt , 220v at 50Hz unit.. previously it was consuming about 2.5 to 2.8 Amperes.. i have an online amp meter installed.
but from some days this unit is drawing 4.2 to 4.5 amperes.. i dont know what is reason of this increase in amps. cooling is still perfect.. also ac compressor keeps tripping when desired temp achieved.. indoor and outdoor coils are absolutely clean.. can some one help me to resolve this issue... thanks

In power equation, P=VI such that V is inversely proportional to I. Here power is kept constant. It means for the same power consumed, if current is increased voltage should be decreased. So when ever your voltage go down it will increase the current but won't effect your KWH or Bill units or bill amount so chill if it happened due to low voltage.

correct.. what my all other appliances are fine.. also Volts showing at UPS LCD is 230 avg all time..

one more thing.. its actually a 110v unit.. i have to put a step down transformer (110/220v) to run this.. now by calculation of power formula..
P = VA
P= 220*4.5
P = 990 watts..
Where as this unit is 590 watts (written on label).. is it possible by changing voltage watts increase???

Watts or power will remain constant in this case and I mentioned just one reason out of many.
