Why AC Technicians always recommend Gree OR Haier

Asslam o Alekium, hope you guys are fine and doing great.

I am always concious which brand Ac
Is top seller in our market and whenever i ask any Technician they always recommended me Gree and Haier.

Why They Recommend above two brands most likely.

Brother we had those old box type general ac in all our rooms. We sold them last year. I had the same question when i went to the market to buy a split ac. Guess what? I landed on buying a 1.5 gree ac, Man its a chiller Mashallah. Even if the weather is hot outside, and you are using gree you will definitly feel like as if you are in Nathiagali. Nothing comes closer to gree. I was the kind of guy who was very much interested in mitsubishi brand, but let me tell Gree is worth the price. If you are buying two ac this summer. Buy 1 gree. You will get know the difference.

using electrlux, kenwood, haier, gree, and dawlance at home .. all inverrtors,,, so far grree leads in cooling, economy, build quality, haier , kenwood have less build quality i can see rust already in inner unit part but no issue so far...

dawlance unit is very old style with less set of controls cooling takes longer time... elctrolux is standing last and in first year went for compressor claim already...

Once try International brand like Daikin, General, Panasonic, you will be pleased to see the results.

Personally i like to go for something new with new features.

Did you ever realize, General, Daikin, Acson, Panasonic, these companies do not make fancy air conditioners, they make simple machines for better cooling and longer life.

What do you say brother?

I have 7 daikin/acson, 1 Samsung 1 orient and 7 gree acs.

Best ac I would say is gree.

When voltage gets low gree shuts down but daikin blows a fuse and it computer heats up too which make problem.

So practically speaking gree is designed for our conditions and works great.

3 year I faced no problem with gree but due to voltage issues daikin gives problem sometimes.

Yes once free evaporator leaked which was fixed for 8k but it happens no big deal

Wa Alaikum Salam. I would say that since both are "market k brands", that's why everyone recommends them.

Secondly, it's also better to go for such brands, which are "IN" in the market. Two major benefits for such brands are; easy, ready and (may be) cheap availability of spare parts, and expert technicians! (Technicians can be many, but experts can be a few)

If you will be opting for off-market brands, then you may face such issues if problems arise.

I have been using Haier DC Inverter AC since last 2 years and AL HAM DU LILLAH, it never gave me any issues. However, if now given an option, I would opt for Non-DC one!

I have used both types of ACs and have personally felt that Non-DCs are better than DCs when it comes to cooling. Of course electricity consumption can be slightly more in such case.

Regarding brands; my personal favorites are General, Mitsubishi, Daikin, Daikool and Acson, and would love to go for one of these if given an option (of course if budget is not an issues), otherwise, in easily locally available brands; Haier and Free only!

No brother i am not agreeing with you, Technically Inverter AC are better in cooling, these are equipped with R410A gas which is more sufficient and nature Friendly, All you need is to use inverter sensibly.

If you are looking for only ( Cooling ) then no one can beat window ac.

Once i went to Japan and my Japanese brought me to One big show room where i did see one window ac but everything was written in Japanese my friend told me its Original Japanese brand and even better than General Brand.

I bought and trust me years have passed but this beast still cooling better than anything, no gas charging no service just we clean filters and after 2/3 years clean with electric blower.

Regarding cooling, well, I have no issues with the refrigerant / cooling gas, however, as per my personal experience, Non-DCs abruptly start cooling and then compressor fully trips when it attains it's temperature, and cooling is abrupt (observed this in many models, Haier, Samsung, Dawlence). However, in case of DCs, I have observed that cooling phenomenon is not abrupt, rather continuous and slow, and when compressor attains it's temperature, it doesn't fully trip, rather goes to min. Rpm.

I am not satisfied with the cooling of DCs inverters. To me, Non-DCs are better when it comes to abrupt cooling, provided temperature and brand are same (i.e. Haier and @ 23-26°C. I have hardly tried 21 in my Haier DC Inverter. 23 is the min. In case of extreme weather, otherwise, and in normal conditions, 25-27). This is my observation; Others can disagree.

I agree that DC invetrer work slowly because its designed to work like that. No need of heavy and bulky voltagee stabilizers. Future is DC inverter. Forget traditional units.

Do one thing when you start your inverter ac, push the button of Temp on lowest possible figure and then push the button of Turbo/Power/jet mode,

Once this will be done your inverter ac will work on full throttle from the minut 2.

If you install proper ac depending on your room dimensions.. Only then it's good.
17x20 kay room mai loog laga datay hai 1 ton aur phir rotay hai.

I put daikin inverter in my 15x17 room and never felt the need to set temperature below 26.

Set on 26 turbo model for 10 minutes and then silent

Of course I used to do it (but not keeping the temperature on lowest side like 16-18; it seems insane to me. I usually started from 21-23, mostly 23) but of no use. And I had also observed one thing that while in Turbo mode, blower moves at max. speed in the start, however, after some time, it becomes slow, and slow to such an extent, that it seems as if AC had been turned OFF (abrupt cooling / sudden drop in room temperature was almost negligible).

May be, I missed something, or this blower phenomenon in Turbo mode also happens with others too?

Agreed. Mine is 1.5 Tons and current room dimensions are tentatively 12.5' x 11'. I will install my Haier DC Inverter AC tomorrow (I.A.), and observe the behavior.

In turbo mode most ac will automatically come to normal cool mode and speed aftee 30 minuts OR 60 minuts.

I cant understand why your ac behave like this
