Which mobile service for northern areas?

Hey everyone

im going for a trip to murree, abottabaad, nathiagali, thandiyani, jheel saif ul mulook and some other high peaks etc.

Please tell me which is the best mobile carrier recommended and tried for these areas?

Which service would have the best signal reception

Ufone , Mobilink, Warid, telenor, Zong?

Although i hate it, Telenor has good coverage out of city, not too sure about northern areas though.

Keep Warid and Mobilink with you,i hope you wont face any problem but at Siaf ul Malook none of them is going to work.

mobilink doesnt work at all

Use telenor in northern areas, warid also works but not as good as telenor

I bought Telenor sim before going to naran and it had very bad signals there. Although the signal showed full strenght but connectivity was very poor. On the other hand i also had warid and it was working perfectly fine.

Thuraya or global star will give you coverage every where even in a plane too

guys i cant get thuraaya or any big carrier, its out of bugdet

i can only get one of the local carriers, and according to feedback i guess telenor and warid should be the best so i should carry a Sim of each network with me

If you can afford must rent a Thuraya Satellite Phone when you are travelling deep in northern areas specially mountaineering or travelling with family. Thuaray is available on rent from Thuraya Phone
