Which Engine Oil to be used in Toyota Prius 2007, 1.5

Assalam O Alaikum
Dear all ! I have recently bought Toyota Prius 2007 ( 2nd Gen ) 196,000 kms driven.
Previously I owned Lancer 2005, I used Havoline 20W50 in it n went very well nver reduced minutest of the oil after every oil change at 4000kms.
I asked the owner of Prius to confirm me which oil he used but he didn't tell me.
Workshop technician told me to go for same 20W50 as its quite old with 195,000 driven.
Car ran bit heavy and after 2500kms engine reduced around 250 ml , I searched net n went to another mechanic who recommended to use Havoline 5W30.
Though car is light now n fuel average is also good between 20-28 kms / L but it has decreased around 250ml after just 2000 kms.
Now after 3 months hybrid battery has gone weak n required to be replaced.
Can this decrease be due to extra load on engine due to the absence of assisted power given by the battery.
Kindly guide me as to which oil grade I should adhere to ?

I'm using Prius 1.5 since 2012. I purchased car @ 32k now it's ODO is @ 170K.

I can share my experience.

Please don't use Mobil oil of higher grade than 5w-30 or 10w-30.

Keep tyre pressure 32 PSI. I'm using 195/65/15 tyres.

Pour only 3.75 L mobil oil, always keep a bottle of 1 L mobil oil of same grade in you vehicle. Keep a close eye on oil quantity at each 1000 KM and pour as necessary.

Always set the climate control on Auto.
