W.S. Bro, no need to get confused. The answer is quite easy, simple, verified and tested.
For your car or any Honda City (5th Generation) with ODO reading < 100k Kms, any Oil will serve the purpose well, which is 5w-30, API SN, Fully Synthetic / Synthetic Engine Oil, by some Well-Reputed Brand! Of course, It's understood that it's 100% Genuine and Original!
Regarding Brands; have you ever came across SUSTINA 5W30 SN/RC? ( http://www.eneos.pk/sustina-5w30-snrc/ ) One of the best oils, I ever used! Just google it, try it, and permanently switch to it (if you want peak performance from your engine). Trust me, you will never regret!
Other than this, Liqui Moly, Caltex Chevron and Mobil1 are also excellent brands. Shell, ZIC and Kixx may be avoided now a days, as there are many fake copies of these brands in markets.
Highly disagreed! And did not expect such non-professional reply from that guy.
He may be the one, who had never used Total Quartz 9000 5w-30, API SN, Fully Synthetic Engine Oil; at least for once (Or might have come across some fake oil). Accordingly, has no idea what he is talking about! It easily lasts beating of 7,000-8,000 Kms! What more can one expect?
Total offers best value for money as per my opinion. If one can't afford expensive brands like Liqui Moly and ENEOS Sustine, then I would recommed Total Quartz 9000 5w-30, API SN as the Second, and at the same time, last option!
Regarding change interval, oil must be replaced every 06 months (even if the car had not been in use).
I won't recommend it, instead, would suggest to stick to 5w-30. Rest, your choice!
Thank you.
