Which engine oil in pakistan is best for bikes ?
Hows Honda's Original Engine oils ?

Hondas motor bike oil maybe the worst oil possible.... its so light a new bike starts giving smoke if you dont change it for a 1000kms.
Caltex CXT used to be my favourite for 125, ppl use it for any cc bike, best possible oil for any bike/car.
Remember one thing dear motorbikes oil change must NOT exceed a 1000kms, bikes have smaller engines with high RPMs, oil's life is not even half in Bikes.
Do remember to change oil before every thousand kms and your bike will be good for 1 lac kms guaranteed

@vaqas yaaar cxt bund ho choka hay Go for Caltek Havoline n must change oil before 1000 km vasay my advice almost 800 km. but be sure to buy an origonal.....

thx guys how about Castrol GTX ? and there best oil the magnatic ? its a synthetic oil...

i heard from some one that the GTX is a better oil the caltex oils..
Also what u guys think about Shell and Total oils for bikes ?

caltex hevoline formula... best in mineral... and mobil1 best in synthetic

i,ve been riding bikes for almost 15 years. in pakistan the best oil fove been riding bikes for almost r honda 125cc is GTX MAGNATIC. forget about other oils.at the moment this is the best oil for bikes available in pakistan. and my opinion is not to use very thick oil because thick oil takes long time to reach engine parts as you start the engine.and with thick oil your bike engine wont start right away because of the thickness of oil,thus you have to pull up the "chok lever". and remember most of the damage occures during the first start up.
so just use gtx magnatic which is synthatic.

GTX Magnetic is good but how about for other bikes ? like 100cc honda or 70cc cd ? plus its a very expensive oil around 260 for 1 L and can we use this oil for lets say 2000KM ? bcoz in cars it easily gives u more KMS then other oils.

Bhai CXT is renamed Havoline and CXT/HAVOLINE are no way thick oil.
By the Way ANY and I mean it ANY oil from CALTEX is superior then shell/castrol.
Caltex has a oil called 5-star, its their oldest brand and im telling you man for 130 or 140 a liter, its the BEST oil for any petrol Engine, lasts very long.... great RED colour, great viscosity, NOT so THICK...NOT so LIGHT.
Most sold oil for decades now.
For small engine 70-125cc Experimenting with Fully Synthetic can be a Bad experience

well some one told me that Castrol GTX is a better oil then CXT hmmz....
So there is no one winner in here.

I m surprised to that most engine oils are not fit to run in a motorcycle bcoz here in pakistan we have motorcyle with wet clutch plates means the clutch is in oil and these famous oils that u have told me they have a thing called friction control and when this oil is put in a wet plate system engine this can damage ur clutch very badly..

Now for that expert sugest to always get Jaso Ma certified oil these are japanese standard and these are fit to run in motorcycle and in paksitan only shell advance 4 stroke oil have this feature its a jaso Ma plus its design for wet clutch plate engines..

Now all this is confusing i was reading some where that only oils below sw10-30 have friction control..

Anyone of u know some thing about this please give ur views..

Hi Guys,

I m new in this forum. According to my Experience & informtaion most of the Bikes in Pakistani market 50CC ~ 150CC & also some bikes having engine capacity more than 150cc are recommended to be used SAE 20-40 oil. The available oils with this standard in PAK market are Supreme 5 Star (Caltex), Honda Geniune Oil (Total) & Shell Advance. Rest of the Brands discused above either synthetic or minerals are of SAE 20-50 standards which are not too good for these type of High speed wet cluth engines. I m using caltex Supreme 5 Star in my current bike since 1996 Average running of my bike is approx 1500Km/Month & i replace oil every 2000 KM & my Bike is still at Standard Piston/Cylinder. So thats my own experince which i had in my whole riding life i.e. 13 years (since 1993) i had three bikes Suzuki A50 1982, Kawasaki GTO 125 1991, & now Honda CD 70 1996.

As i know ZIC 4T is the best engine oil in pak. Its fully synthetic with
JASO-MA code. Means u can use it with wet clutches.
Must try. Im using with my cg125.

i hear 2 things about synthetic engine oilds for bikes..

They are very good...should be used anytime....better performance,better life etc etc

2.They are good for new engines, not good for old engines...they can clean carbon and reduce engine compression.

ZIC 4T is the best oil you get for your bike, It is fully synthetic with JASO-MA certification. Means u can use it with wet clutches. And it doesn't let your engine heatup too much even howsoever you use it. Its good for those who ride for longer runs, and those who ride on faster speeds. More over, its drain life is for sure 3-4 times more than tradition oils like GTX and Havoline etc. For Example if you change other oils at 1000 to 1200 KM, you need to change ZIC 4T even over 4000KM, and if you are using an older bike, you can use ZIC 4T over 3000 KM.

Now a better grade motor cycle oil than of Zic4T is also available in market i.e. Shell AX5 it complies API SL & JASO MA specifications on the other hand API SM JASO MA complaince are also available but they are quite expensive & bit hird to find but they are really full synthetic. ZIC 4T is also tagged as fully synthetic but i have doubt:o that how a full synthetic oil could be available in price of mineral oil. BTW performance of ZIC 4t is not that bad but one should try the better available options aswell
