any one plz clearly mention about fuel average... for both city and out way and also for manual and auto, pakwheels walon ne to mistakly same e batai h highway aur city me b

Not mistakenly, it's actually same in both city and long drive, also confirmed by picanto owner

I have spoken with few kia picanto owners. They say initialy before 1000 km it is 13 within city for automatic and after 1000 it goes upto 15 to 16 within city. Another owner told me highway is 18 on 120 speed. If any owner wants to contribute here. Please do that.

I own a AT Picanto and in my 8 months ownership have driven it close to 25K and all around PK. I have a very light foot to paddle.

1) It's a comfortable car but not comfortable to be driven at 120km/h speed.
2) You get about the average of 13-15km/l with 120-130km/h speed.
3) In city traffic drive, it doesn't give you more than 10km/l average.

I've not driven other AT Picanto long enough to comment on fuel average but in my opinion, my car is not giving optimum fuel average considering the engine size, technology and marketed fuel average.

i endorse what is said by Wamiq. Its fuel average is pathetic in city (just giving you 9.5 - 10 km/l)

It will improve a bit in future in my opinion
With ac, you can expect 12-13km/L and without ac in winters, 14-15km/L
Again it depends upon driving conditions which vary alot from car to car

I own a manual Picanto with 15k on odometer, it used to give me 16 kmpl in city and 19 on motorway with AC back in summers. Now it's been 1.5 months that AC is turned off and the fuel average has increased to 18.5 in city. Didn't travel on motorway with AC off till now, so can't comment on it. My rpm when gear changed is b/w 2.5k to 3k. Fuel average upto 1 kmpl increases if you change gear before 2.5k and keep a light foot on the paddle (experimented it).

Recently drove a loaner Picanto AT for two weeks during a family event, drive is great so is the build quality. Transmission felt bit sluggish. Fuel average was around 10-11 in city.

10 to 11 in city with ac and in normal traffic, the dealership said that it will improve after 1000 km but now after 18000 km still 10 to 11 kmpl , all tuning etc done this is what is usual from this car. No long route experience but i think max would be 13 to 14

My Picanto automatic is giving 8 within city, 3,900 driven and on highway it's around 12
