A late model Mehran Euro II is worth 10-11 lacs nowadays - 12 lacs worth of cash isn't much nowadays. You can pretty much only get an old Cultus or Mehran if you want a new-ish car (2-4 years old)

Pakwheels price calculators are outdated - they haven't taken into account massive rupee devaluation and the corresponding increase in price of new and used cars.

Friend of mine is willing to sell his City 09 Model 150K driven and he is getting offer of around 12.5 to 3 lacs even though his car's condition is not excellent and two years back same car price was estimated around 11 lacs.

Depends on your choice. In 12 lacs you have multiple options including JDMs as well.
You can go for 10 mdl Passo (2nd gen) in 12lacs btw.
Also, you can have Vitz 7/8/9 mdl
Last option is 660cc

Both are reliable workhorses - I personally lean towards Wagon R - it's a current model with a more modern, efficient engine and A/C. The engine in the Cultus is an old design.

What about wagon r road grip? I heard that it's road grip is not good . Where as Cultus road grip is better.
