In non technical terms, for an approximate idea.
Assuming AC is run at 26C and is working efficiently.
Maximum 1.5-2.0 units per hour when the AC is cooling the room to reach its desired temperature.
Around 0.75-1.25 units per hour when the AC has reached its desired temperature and is maintaining room temperature.
This calculation is for 1.5 ton Inverter AC and is an approximate figure for non technical people.
To calculate actual figures, you need tool (clamp meter) to measure ac current and voltage and then multiple it together and then divide by 1000, to reach at per hour unit consumption.
Like now, my Voltage is 230v and and ac current consumption is 6A. So (230v x 6A) ÷ 1000 = 1.38 unit per hour consumption.
