KE70 for starters available in 3-5 Lac for a decent car. I particularly like the MX83 Cressida, X90 Mark II and X110 as well under 20 Lac. X100 is 25+ nowadays and rare as well. Mark X is also a good contender but a decent one will cost you 30+. Starlet kp60 was rwd as well till 1984. RX8 is also a good option if sedan is not a requirement. The old Toyota Crowns till 1998 are under 20 Lac as well. Mercedes E Class W124 is also a good project car (I've seen one with a 1UZ here in Peshawar and a 1JZGTE in Lahore that unfortunately caught fire due to wiring issues). Other germans may include the E36 and E46 3 Series as well.

doesnt matter coupe or sedan, preferably a engine with modification paths along the line and going for street build that can drift. So looks are important. I see this as a beginner project car i want to take on myself so codition should be good.Doesnt matter if you cant get parts locally. Budget under 20 lacs.

I need a beginner project car for street/show with the option of drifting. Im not planning on a active drift car just need the option of drifting as I have heavy interest in it.So yeah I plan on spending till 15 lacs on just the car. Preferably 10 lacs.I plan to work on it myself so I can learn this work as a hobby aswell.So something with good condition for a beginner is preferable.

A million just for the car.Other repairs and modification I am not counting as I dont have the total budget planned for the build and upgrades.This can be done gradually over time.Im in no rush

Go for it then, if you can afford the half million a month and also become a full time mechanic for it.

That old mazda has good weight distribution and good manners for drift too.

The bmws mentioned require gusseting of the rear subframe mounts (not a job for “gas battee welder) or you will have a car with the rear carrier ripped and lying on the road.

A good hydraulic lockout conversion of the rear brakes will cost you a bunch and so will modding the front spindles.

He isn’t looking gor a car to drift everyday. I think he wants a good looking car that can go sideways easily when he wants to make a video with it or for show. The 323 will have issues for finding parts.
Can you explain the gussetting and what do you recommend for the diff.

Not sideways like a proper sideways car but good enough for a beginner. I run old and expired tires which have no grip like at all and pretty dangerous but i barely drive it. Downshift it mid turn and slam the throttle, the rear will slide, It will be uncontrollable unlike a rwd car where the throttle has the control and you might actually end up in a tree.
With actually decent tires, nope you are not sending a juice box sized engine fwd car sideways.
