What is the invoice date or manifacturing date based on?

I am considering buying a civic and delivery of that civic is on january 4th 2022. now the guy paid the old price that was 2 lac increase until december instead of 4 lac january afterwards. and obviously his invoice will arrive after the car delivery so what will be car model in registration if i register it after 2-3 months and what will be the manifacturing year in the invoice

It should be 2022 as the car and the invoices are arriving in jan2022

Difficult to predict bro. As it comes from lahore. May be may be my idea is the invoice would be 31st december and if u r lucky enough than 1st jan onwards invoice. Invoice is generated prior delivery when transported from lahore. If dec invoice then model would be 2021 and registration 2022. Otherwise both 2022. According to dealership its 2021 no difference though the invoice is of january but manufacturing date is 2021 and thus model will be 2021 i m getting it for 44.40 i dont know.if i should get it or not its ug full option and what about the registration. Can i register it after 3 months on my own name without any advance tax?

Then it has been invoiced already in December and is in transit or waiting dispatch probably. After 3 months there would be a penalty.how much is the invoice and what extra r u paying as ON

invoice 43 and i am paying 140 own but if i have to pay 1 lac wth tax during registration then its not worth it

I got my Turbo delivery on 05 Jan 2017...invoiced 3rd of Jan and on invoice it was clearly written year of manufacture 2017. Excise department only see year of manufacture on invoice and take that as model. In my case it was surely manufactured in 2016 but batched in 2017 for delivery and all documentations were accordingly. Check on your invoice if it is 2022 written then it is 2022 model no matter even it is delivered to you on 1st Jan. Other than that despite invoiced in Jan it will be considered 2021 if date of manufacturing is in 2021, simple as it is.

this is written on the invoice of that civic the invoice date is 26 december 2021 too so really not sure on registration book the model will be 2021 or 2022
