Depends on which check up is he refering..
Most of time they check the filer. Mobil Oil, Tyre Pressure, Wheel Allignment

checkup should include

coolant, Aircon gas
tyre pressure
alignment
oil
brake fluid
all filters
plugs (in petrol cars)
belt tensions & condition
shocks
bushes (suspension_
tyres (wear)
undercarriage
brake pads
brake dscs/drums
Hydraulic fluid (steering)
Lights (all bulbs/signals)
Internal switches (windows, Hazzard lights, headlights etc)
Seatbelt harness points & webbing
and a general overall inspection of the body/roadworthyness of the vehicle.

guys..take notice that storm said "should"...not "will" so dont take this list to the dealer and expect them to do all this...lol

The Toyota 3S dealers in Islamabad are not so forthcoming. Will do only what you tell them.

On first 1,000 Kms check up, they just lift the car on jack check underbody and tighten nuts and bolts and check brakes. On 10,000 Kms they also check nuts and bolts, but also clean/check breaks and spark plugs, battery and that's it.

I myself asked the mechanic to check fluids, belts, etc and rotate the tyres.

Check up latterly mean (for the automobile service) 62 point check for the car. It is recommended to be carried out ever 6 months or 10,000KMs which ever comes first. it is also recommended to have check Up (62 point Check) when you travel more than 5000KMs on a highway straight away in a row.

@Szuberi. Good catch brother. I am from old generation which still thinks distances and weights in miles and pao and seers. lol.

Recommended oil/filter change for Corolla Xli is 5,000 Kms.

Interesting thing. When I went for the last oil change, I asked the service manager to top up window washer fluid and he asked WHAT. The mechanic said just make a mild solution with little shampoo and tap water and pour it in. I said thank you I know that but would not do that and please do not recommend this to others if you do not store window washer fluid. Will check with other dealers and stores.

Daily check up b4 starting car in the morning
1. Radiator water
2. Engine Oil gauge
3. Have a look at all Tires (Kahi puncture to nahi)

Weekly checkup

          1. Battery water in all cells
          2. Tyre pressure (Go to tyre shop)

Monthly checkup or after 1.5 Month (if u drive 80 to 100 Kms a Day)

           1. Go to Mechanic Shop for Tuning

After 6 Months Checkup

          1. go to Mechanic Shop and tell him to check your car parts like Break leathers, Bushes, Foundation Rubbers, Wheel alignment, drums etc

Thats what I do and I learned from my father to keep car fit. Thats why he is having Toyota Corolla 82 since 1991 still in very good condistion.
