WagonR VXL 2018 Fuel Average issue

Dear Pakwheelers.
I own Suzuki WagonR VXL 2017 Pak made from 201, 8From day first, It's fuel average wasn't good and was about 10-11KM.s in city, After visiting 4 Suzuki dealerships, it's been revealed that the catalytic converter needs to be serviced. After servicing, its average speed is around 13 km/h max. within the city or even on the highway. I've serviced the catalytic converter around three times and changed the spark plugs, but till now no one has been able to solve the issue. Kindly share your valuable advice in this regard as Suzuki's dealerships have no clue on this.
PS: I am in Karachi city and my foot is very light, So light that on same route i get 13KM/Litre average on Altis1.6

I m facing the same issue my wagon r is only generating 12km/ltr in Lahore. I also used to drive on light foot even 2022 alto was giving 22km/l, when I drove. What I planned to do next is
1. Throttle body service
2. MAP and O2 sensor cleaning
3. Use of Luqi Molly injectors cleaning
4. Use of STP engine flush
5. Catalytic cleaning
I think you should also go for these options

Already did all of the above. Bo result so far.

It is not Catalytic cleaning, It is Catalytic Killing.

After al the above processes I have achieved the required performance of wagonr

City average 17.5 kmpl
Long route 19-20 kmpl

Assalam o Alaikum,

My first thought went to catalytic convertor when I saw the title of this post but having gone through the post it seems this was already addressed.

Below are my two cents but I am sure they were brought up by others as well.
- Fuel quality is another issue so, if not already done, try with a different location to refuel your vehicle and then see.
- Tyre size and tyre pressure also add up and affect the fuel consumption. Hope no mods are done to the car, if yes then remove excess weight from your car
- Driving style (how you accelerate) also affects the fuel consumption. Accelerate and decelerate as smoothly as possible. Make sure you're in the correct gear at all times.

@syedrummanathar please no. Cat converter cleaning is a gimmick.

Plus you’re getting good averages. It’s not clogged. One day fill up your tank with hi octane and go on motorway giving absolutely full gas/accelerator. It should clean up anything that might need cleaning in the fuel/exhaust system.
