Urgent ! Please help....Import papers have been lost

Dear members

Can anyone guide me what to do. I purchased a fresh imported used Japanese car from Islamabad. Unfortunately the file of all clearing and import papers has been lost. Since then I'm trying to find a legal solution to this problem. The documents I keep at the moment are as under:
1- Clear photocopies of complete set of import/clearing papers.
2- FIR
3- NOC from Islamabad Excise and Taxation Office.
4- Cutting of a news paper.

The excise office demands original or duplicate papers verified by Karachi Customs.
Though I prefer to find the right and legal procedure to follow.and to know the right authority to contact with, but the main objective is to get the problem solved obviously.

Please help me guiding the right way which works.

The best way to deal with this is to find an agent who knows his way around and can get it done for you. Based on the departments that you have to face, .i.e. customs and exise, they will squeeze you dry, an agent can get it done quickly and rather cheaply and swiftly

I've tried number of agents too but no solution even with a very high offer. It has been around 10 months and I keep following all the advices that I've received so far. I've tried the help of showroom owners and some importers as well. I pushed the clearing agent too who cleared this car but result is same. Finally I decided to find a legal way. At least there must be one since the case is genuine. It's just an accident that may happen to anyone.

I'm however obliged and thankful to you since you are giving me the valuable suggestions. I still expect from all members to give me their kind suggestions/proposals if anyone of them knows the right way to follow.
