Asalm O Alekum
hope every one is fine

As the title says i am looking for best tyres for my mehran more wider with more grip and more comfortable no matter of avg .... currently i am using TRIACE (chineese 145/70/12) got them last year and till now around 14000km driven with 3 puntures and front ones are now at extreme end ... totally plain .. look wise they looked good but not a good experience with them ..:frowning:

Now InshAllah will be getting of some good brand ... and i am here for considering your advises that which Tyre to get and of which brand ... this time have decided to go for 155/70/12 ... is this Tyre size OK ?.. and plz if there is some one who can guide me for what that 155,70 nd 12 stands for ??
p.s. my car is mostly used locally and in a two week i travel to Multan from Bahawalpur

dear one thing plz note that as you will increase width of tyre it will increase your fuel consumption, also it will make your steering harder to turn. 155 70 12 is size ok for mehran, 145 70 12 is not bad that much.
155 is width in mm for tyre
12 inch is its radius
and 70 is ratio for tyre width to its height.
as far as rates are concerned, just for your information dunlop 145 70 12 is from 3600~3800, yokohama is 3400~3500, while bridgestone is available in 155 70 12, its price ranges from 5200~5500 per pc. (these prices I took from neela gumbad on saturday 29th sep)

bro really appreciate your input.... in your sight which is good...? some say yokohama is harder than dunlop.... and how is nankang ( or watsoever i din remembr its correct name)

Since market price of dunlop is more than yokohama, so it can be assumed that dunlop has better quality. Better first check your budget then go for required brand....

go for bridgstone i have these in my mehran and drove over 40000 km annd all tyres are ok with no puncture in any one.

which tire size are you using ... ??
and are bridgestones more comfortable nd softer than dunlop nd yoko ??

I've just installed Falken tires though made for used in cold conditions they are working well for me...!

I have these tyres since 2 years and nothing happen to my suspension...this is all upon your driving style to ruin the suspension or ruin the whole car....the tyre size has no issue for that

18 days later

finally got DUNLOP 155.70.12 for 45oo pkr .. and seriously there is hell difference.... amazing grip and comfort
i would suggest anyone anytime dunlop for mehran ..

i have installed Dulnop Eco 165/70/12 in factory rims,
they are good, road grip is very good.

i have used dunlop with my previous 3 rides, and have a pretty good experience with them.

but 165 wont giv hard time to poor suspension of mehran :S

filhaal ti bilkul theek he,
i also know some other ppl with 165, aur koi problem ni hua suspension ko.

Guys I would request all my brothers to not compromise on Tyres. Kahin aur bachat kar lena but not on tyres.

Bro if you want to keep car for longer period, don't use anything above 155. after 3 years or 65000 km you'll have frequent visits to the mechanic. But you'll make a new friend
