Tyre size for cultus 2006 155/80/13 or 175/70/13

Please advice what tyre size should i buy as stock size is 155/80/13 but it can be repalced by 175/70/13. So advice what size should i pick. Will 175/70 affect in fuel economy but it will make ride smooth ot stick with stock tyre size

Futher advice hard or soft.

Need advice as mine current tyre out of shape so need to change them asap.

It’s your choice where you have to decide between average and comfort

Just need to knew how much it effects average as cultus owner can advice on this as mostly people do 175/70 whom done this.

I have a cultus 06 and currently using 175-70 profile

The ride is very very smooth and car looks great as well
Yes the steering is a bit hard as compared to the 155s but that’s acceptable as travelling of my car is mostly from Valencia to DHA via ring road

Average in city is compromised and with AC we achieve around 11-12 kmpl in normal traffic , while without AC it’s around 13-14 in city drive

Thanks for this. As i have eps so steering and handling not a issue. Just need advice from people regarding ride and fuel and its good to put these.

So you using what brand soft or hard one

I'd stick with stock size as it would keep your suspension in good order, better fuel average, better acceleration, easy steering and speedometer would show the correct speed. Plus smaller tyres will be cheaper.

Soft tyres for clean paved roads.
Harder tyres for roads that aren't in the best condition.
