It's to wide and change are that they will hit the body parts while cornering.
The best size for ur car is 165 65 r13.

yes you can but as khm42747 said it would hit the inside of the mudguard in the front tyres and would have bad effect on your mileage. company fitted size is 155/70/13 in santro club but 165/65/13 is great Tyre for santro. dunlop eco has reasonable grip and milage for normal city/highway driving.

as written on the door"
Rim 4.0, tyre 155/70R13
Rim 4.5, tyre 155/70R13
Rim 5.0, tyre 175/60R13
So its possible. but 165/65R13 best

165 65 r13 is the ideal size. anything bigger and the steering will get harder and tyres will touch body parts.

wat if front wheels of 155/70 and rear wheels of 170/55.no problem of touching i thin so. wat do u think?

It would unbalance the car and it would hit on speed breakers.

i only know the lhr market and i wana buy used tyers from lari ada lhr.it is very difficult to buy a thing which u did't see specially 2nd hand.wat do u say?

@silverwings4 its worth driving 300kms on a week end you can enjoy the long drive too on return with new shoes

whats the point in having two diff size atleast if it was rwd would have some diff in performance and if you have a puncher and need to use the spare wheel will have tough time to drive and also it will reduce the tires life with diff size so all to gether you will be loosing more money than for the fuel for 300kms think it again before changing

or else the best option would be can go with the same size even in the front as you wanted in the back and use spacers to get the wheels out so it doesnt touches the inner arch at corners but it will increase the wideness of your car dimension

if going for used tires check the manufacturing date according to experts rubber go brittle and can burst after 3yrs of manufacture but to inform me using bridgestone tires from past 7yrs on my santro and have not got any such issues but can spot the cracks in the side wall which can be seen when air is less... the secret behind me still save is i drive below 90km/hr but i do bad roads too

actually my front wheel 155/70 has got deep cut unfortunately which has ruined the tyre.i dun wana buy a pair from mianwali.i have to go lhr 4 some work.so want to get a used pair of tyre from lhr.

ya i know.2nd hand tyre seller sees the juice in the tyre and cracks on the side ways.they usually dun see the manufacturing date.but rubber aging is a fact.

I WANT to change two tyres of my santro.where should I install these tyres I mean front side or rear side or one front and one rear.plz advise

Front.

Brother clear me out the size u told 175 55 r 13 u have them or u will be buying them if u have them then it's ok if not then and u are buying it then it's no point spending the money twice because if u accumulate them it will reach the price of new ones.
