hi guys i just wanted to know if it is possible to turbo charge a carb engine. say its a 12 valve 1300cc 2E. and i get a ct-9 turbo may be for free. and a custom made header for the turbo. wat other parts does a turbo have and how do i have to make the set up. lets not talk abt 4efte.

yeah it is possible..
but one pakwheel member told me thats it quiet difficult as compared to turboing efi...
the problem i think is that the air temperature rises when it comes out of the turbo and in cary engine the air fuel mixture can explode beore going to the cylinde...
i saw a daewoo turbo charged... it is single point fuel injection so , same like a carby..

o just saw this standing in my street a couple of times..
the first it did'nt had a bonet... caz of the turbo..
but the next time i saw it,, it had one ,, a modified one..
i dont know the person..
but the next time i saw him, i'll take his cell number for you...
turbo charged daewoo.. great....
i think turbo charging carby engine is kinda difficult cause its hard to manage fuel setup with carby setup....
i have already tried fooling with 2e engine corolla and turbo,,, there are big problems,, not worth the effort

FIing a 2E would be a problem, u need to have a blowby carb.
turboing Daewaoo is a lot simpler that car just have a single injector idrect fire setup whose pulses can be varied with a potentiometer kindofthing already present under the hood add a high flow injector instead of the stock one and very the fuelpulses with the potentiometer 
game is done :D.
ahh!!! intercooler is not a essential part. maybe he's running very low boost and dont want to have lag by adding a intercooler?? maybe its something else. or maybe he is injection enuff fuel so he would not blow

a carby engine turbo charged...ahan...so can we super charge a carby engine..or install an intercoler to boost performance...im talkin abt the 2E...??
this car is on cng:O...man...dis means we can run a supercharged/turbocharged or an intercooler on cng??:S
