I always want to visit Khanpur Dam, I heard lot of things about the beauty of Khanpur Dam, so This month i decided i should visit Khanpur Dam with my friends, After papers we visited the dam, and guess what???:o I found it very beautiful place. :*
we were 5 friends and we go through Honda City, here are exclusive photos of our tour.

road was in really bad shape when i last visited

Islamabad to Taxila GT road is in very bad shape (particularly the return side). Around Taxila it gets better but shortly after it gets bad again (potholes) and finally near the dam it gets better.

Overall, it's in bad shape most of the time. It doesn't mean you cannot go there, but rather you'll have to drive slow and be careful.

Yes road is very bad from Taxila to Khanpur Dam.
