Assalam alaikum dear pakwheels friends,

By the grace of Almighty Allah and with the help of pakwheels friends (specially @ xoofi), I have completed my dream trip to gilgit baltistan in june 2014. It was a grand trip of 15 days.
We were five friends from Karachi. Started our tour on 13 june 2014. Below is the day wise iternity. Details will be posted later.

Some calculations on expenses.

Air ticket: Rs 43325+58800
APV: Rs 20000
Prado: Rs 30000
Asghar jeep:Rs 50000
FM jeep: Rs 6500
Daewoo tickets: Rs 4250
hotels + meals for 17 days: Rs72125
Total expense: Rs 285000
Per head: Rs 57000

Day 1: 13th june 2014

our journey start from karachi by air indus flight. reached islamabad airport at around 9:30.
we resumed our journey by pre-hired APV (cost: 20k from pindi to raye kot)

Day 2: 14th june 2014

reached besham early morning around 6.30 am

take some rest in a hotel for 2-3 hrs because of friday office and then continue journey..
road condition from batgram to besham is in worst condition.no one can sleep during this patch

After besham we faced road block due to some construction work. Chinese engineers were supervising this job. around 30 mint were wasted due to road block.

stayed 30 mints at samar nala near dasu to enjoy the cold and refreshing stream.it was the first eye refreshing place through out KKH, otherwise KKH is total boring with lots of Heat and barren mountains.
