Toyota yaris 2021 pick issue/power loss

Hello friends, i have purchased a new toyota yaris 2021 1.3 ATIV manual and its driven about 1160km and i m facing a problem of pick with a.c. most of the time with a.c i feel its under power, and use 1st gera to move on but some time it perfom good. I called to dealership and they says many other are complaining but you visit us plz. I visited they attached the obd scanner and reported everything is fine.
Any other have the same issue r solution/suggestions?

better is that you sell this 1.3 manual and buy 1.5 manual ativ this will give you all perfect acceleration according to your desirations.

honestly I never felt underpowered with AC in Gli 1.3 manual however if you compare it with 1.8 or you coming from 1.8 then you will definitely feel it but switching off ac won't make you feel much difference but only make you sweat.

The mileage of car is now 5500 k.m.

Well I have been facing two issues in this car since it's purchase.

and I have communicated Toyota indus and company many times on telephone complaints.
As well as I visited the showroom Toyota GT motors Islamabad regarding these issues.

below mentioned are the issues which I faced in this car.
1- when climbing to the steep heights the car efficiency becomes 10%

the car RPM does not exceed over 1500 to 2500 that's why it cannot deliver desire torque to the vehicle.
The same I have practiced in manual operation but of no use.

the car even does not climb on the steep heights like (Manal Islamabad)' which I tried four times.

but every time even the car stuck and stop at height Steep even in manual gear.

The second issue is this when we are climbing down from the steep heights in ' D' mode it does not work The vehicle understand that the speed is gradually getting up and up and it shifts get to 5th or 6 during the climbing down.

so it means that Toyota Yaris Ativ can not be used at any cost in automatic mode while climbing down from the heights.
and it should be mentioned in car manuals that this vehicle automatic drive mode is entirely dangerous while getting down.

Well I went to the dealership on 10th and 17 th of July regarding this issue the engineers and ground staff technicians told me that this is the built in issue in this car and you are not the first one who complained about the car pickup issue.

while climbing over they told that even this problem is more prominent in Toyota yaris Ativ X 1500cc.

Despite of all my visit to Toyota GT motors and calls to Toyota company, no one addressed the issue at Toyota GT motors

they simply did not bother to check any part and they said this is the built-in issue and ask to fill this complaint form.
to forward it to Toyota company.

now one month has passed I have put the complaint to Toyota's company through Toyota GT motor Islamabad but of no result.

Excellency Toyota is the largest manufacturer and most trustable company in the Pakistan but this problem really persists in Toyota Yaris automatic cars please make the solution and otherwise we will blast complain on each social media platforms.

please address this issue

Very strange to hear these sort of issues. Body is much lighter than Corolla so response of the car should be much better. I have also booked Yaris ATIV X and delivery is scheduled in September. Hopefully won't be facing the same problem.

Bhai jan you spared so much time to write a long story but you never bothered to check the owner's manual for a second.

The lack of power you experience on monal climb is due to traction control. Switch it off and you will get the required power. This car is actually very powerful. There is only about 6 hp difference between 1.3 and 1.5.

We like to have more features in our cars but never bother to learn their use.

An auto car will never give engine braking while in D. In a normal auto coming down from monal you have to use L and in yaris which is CVT I think you need to use S with manually selecting 1 gear. Have you ever driven an auto car earlier?

I owned a yaris Ativ manual transmission 1.3 that is totally driven 2600km and facing the same issue. Few days agao i went to muree their i faced the engine power issue during climb and i turned off the traction control but nothing has changed to much. One more thing as per toyota dealership advice i was using high octain but the position was same. One more thing i am facing this issue even on G.T road as well, when i need to use the brakes for some reason to reduce the speed a bit after that vehicle behave same like your 1.5 x that engine has no power and i necesstantly have to apply gear as lower as to maintain the speed, but on normal G.T road i observe that without A.C it doesn't happen.
In my point of view the electric acceleration pedal is not compatible with the vehicle ECU because some time when the power issue happens, i release the acceleration pedal idel for a second and engage it again by pressing slightly then it gives me some how required performance. I am sure the indus motor company have the knowledge about this issues but hopefully it will be cleared in future after clearing the stock of defaulty parts by selling us, for instance as shock absorber produce a bad noice after crossing a bump and in rply of complaint they just say its common manufacturer fault.

I have a 1.5 CVTi driven about 40,000 kms. I have been to monal dozens of times. Never experienced lack of power considering it is a small sedan. There is some a momentary noticeable hesitancy in pick up which is normal with CVT gears and you learn to manage it, but no lack of power at all. Engine braking is also good if you know how to use the manual option on the gear lever or paddle shifters.

Hello friends, after the struggle of one week IMC team visited check the vehicle and replied everything is ok, and gave me a lollypop of satisfaction that this models behavior is like that and you have to be habitual of it.
Now at the end I've found the only solution to sale it and look for something els. i think I've not spent 2.9 million to find out the IMC faults...

AOA , I am using Yaris 1.3 CVT- GLI, got it 2 months back. The pick is completely missing in the car. Like mentioned above by all respectable members, Toyota says that Yaris is like this and do not compare with Honda city or any other model, means we are supposed to get used to it.

Reality is that yaris users have been looted very tactfully. Every vehicle which is for sale in the market, have only 1 reason behind of power related issues. IMC's warranty claims are compelle to only satisfy the users coz they also don't know how to handle the issues. If the problem is not figured out yaris will b a big floop in near future

Turn off the eco mode and all will be ok, when driving u will be seeing a small green ligh of eco mode ,

Salam. I have 1.3 GLi MT Yaris and facing same issues. "the car even does not climb on the steep heights like (Manal Islamabad)' which I tried four times & - when climbing to the steep heights the car efficiency becomes 10%". sent many complaints/emails to toyota isb motors & indus motor company but of no use. while engaging & releasing the clutch, it generate the noises lick "Tuck Tuck" seem like the problem in clutch fork or set of clutch & pressure plates are not compatible.

Dear hassan ali, their is no solution of this problem yet. Even suzukis alto 660cc performance is 3times better than yaris on same route. IMC is also fail to figure it Out. I after a long struggle sold the yaris.
