Okay, so i looked at Toyota - Indus website, the current yaris in Pak has 1nr-fe and 2nr-fe engines.. while the one i have (in gulf) has 2nz-fe engine.. so i am sorry but these are two different types of engines... my Yaris booklet won't be of much help then

Bro i am using PSO Carient Plus fully Syntehtic 5w30 in my city and its working good, i have driven 1800 Km till now, please suggest for how much i can stretch it, the guy mentioned 5000 KM for its running.

Can i switch too Shell 5w30 next time ? and Should i change the Oil filter too on next oil change?

and for Air filtr Can you suggest how long we can use it with Cleaning. And can we use Copy Air filter or always go for GENUINE one ? as people here says buy JENYAN Air filter

my car is Alhumdolillah giving good Avg now 11 to 12 Km with AC in city, i changed the injectors and o2 Sensor and issue is resolved now.

i am using 5w/30 grade oil, not so much concerned about the brand, but the viscosity..
i have driven it 70,000 km till date, Alhamdulillah, not a single problem or a drop of oil reduced.

0w20 is recommended for all brand new cars. So used only 0w20

I really appreciate everyone here, but can anyone please share the oil and temperature chart from the Yaris Owner's Manual itself? I don't think we will need to debate it further once we have that chart here.

Internationally Toyota recommend 0w20 for this engine, Not sure about local manual.

for any efi engine in any PKDM vehicle 5W-30 or 10W-30 engine oil from brand shop or authorized outlet , better consult the owners' manual.

Exactly. Vitz manual also recommends 0w-20 oil for best fuel economy for 1NR-FE engines.

I agree - 5w30 is safe bet in our environment plus it's economical option. From technology prospective, new engines love lightweight oils, they also help in better performance and fuel economy.
