i think its very much possible since the chassis is same. Parts are easily available in Dubai but i think only new part are available
It will cost alot because you will need to replace the bonnet, side fenders, head lights and bumper.
It can be easily done if you can source the front bumper, lights, hood, and fenders. i have seen one LC-II converted in this manner.
As per wikipedia the chasis of the both the models are not same as the later model has wider chassis...?
hmmm. Maybe the front frame aka lock patti and gadri is different in both the models to hold the head-lights and new shape fenders!
It is quite possible all depends upon the sourcing of the parts at right price ... guys at Bilal Gunj Lahore told me it will cost around 150k or above roughly. Don`t know if thats right or not but I guess it could be less in Pindi or Peshawar.
Check these images of such conversions been done in Lahore.....these were for sale on the net few months back. Black one is 1986 model and blue one is 1992 i think.....cheers
But I think the blue one has changed lights only. As far as black is concerned it's fenders n bumpers are also changed.
