i have corolla axio 2007 x model , i recently went to a local key maker/ locksmith ,asked him to make me a duplicate key of my car so in case if i lose my keys/accidentally lock them in the car, i would be able to get in the car, my car has a simple key like remote control key without immobilizer( i'll attach an image for reference) the guy made me the key for RS:250 but it works totally fine on my door locks but it gets stuck in the ignition switch if i push hard and keep on trying(which is very bad for ignition switch & can damage it) sometimes it works and the car turns on but most of the time the duplicate key only works 100% fine on door lock ,but not the ignition switch ..can some one tell me what is the real issue ? the locksmith said that the car has some fault another guy told me that it is a common issue in japani cars ..
if anyone knows this problem/faced similar issue, please help me out..thanks
