Toyota Gli 2014 ! Recommended Engine Oil

Hi Experts

I have just bought Toyota Corolla Gli 2014 Manual new shape 47,000 KM driven .

can you guys let me know what is the best suitable Engine oil for it ? Previous owner used to get changed oil from Toyota 3S dealers only but I did not remember the oil company name.

If changed from toyota than he must be using toyota taglon 5w50

If you wanna go for best oil available in Pakistan than I can recommend you the best.

Mobil 1 0w40 api SN
Mobil 1 5w50 api SN
Liqui moly synthoil hightech 5w40 api SM

All are fully synthetic.

Get oil from authorised dealer only, and pour it with original oem oil filter, get them from authorised 1s part dealers like hamza younus in islamabad and alfutaim motors in Lahore , change oil at every 8-10 thousand kms.

I’m using Mobil 1 5w50 in my 2016 1.8 cvti altis with drain intervals of 10k kms. Alhamdullilah i’m facing no issues at all.

Thank you Haseeb bhai . My City is Lahore and previous owner used to change the oil from Toyota Cantt walton.

That's why I was asking if Mobil 1 5w50 api SN will be good for my Gli 1.3 Manual .

It would be perfect, i’m also from Lahore.
I get from authorised dealer of mobil 1 in Johar town who is a friend as well. Al karam oil store Johar town.

Please go there and take my name for reference.
All genuine authentic oil filters/air filters are available as well. When you’ll ask for genuine you’ll get genuine from them.

Unfortunately I was leaving for Islamabad on other day in a hurry so I contacted previous owner and after confirmation from him ( as he was using the same from last 2 years) I put Toyota Petron+ from Toyotal Walton Motors .

I also discussed with them . They said as my car has been driven above 45K so Taglon 5W50 not preferable now while Petron+ SAE 10W30 is recommended for it and I will have to change it after 5K driven.

so from next time , I will go to Alkram Oil Store for sure if it's better for my car performance.

Haseeb bhai is correct but if you aren’t facing any issues with petron plus so continue using that. I am using petron in my corolla 2012 since the start and it is almost 108k kms now and no issues. I am using liqui moly 10w40 in my 2015 corolla that is good too. But the point is, only change brand if you’re facing any issue otherwise continue using petron plus. It is good. But always make sure to use genuine oil and filters.

I was getting worse fuel economy, too much engine noise, and poor acceleration by keeping my 1.8cvti on initial 15k kms on petron plus. Change this oil after 3000kms. Engine made serious grinding noise at startup with this oil at 6000kms on odo at babusar top.
I only stopped there for 10minutes only.

You’re most welcome bhai.
If you’re not facing any issue then continue using it. It is a good oil but make sure to change it on every 5k kms. Not more than that.
