Toyota Corona 9th Gen | 3S-GE swap

Assalamoalikum dear PakWheelers!

A little back story first:
My father has owned this car since beginning of 2014, got it from Army auction in surprisingly good condition. It has its original 4A-FE engine and the odo read around 400,000 Kms back then. Due to being well maintained during its life in the Army (and afterwards) it is still surviving. Now that my father has bought another car, he was thinking of disposing this one off, but quite frankly I could sense that he didn't want to. So naturally, he thought I should keep it and who am I to say no

Fast forward 2 great years this reliable car has given, now its mileage is more than 500,000. And the same engine is still performing extremely well, but as you all know, no matter how high you go HP is never enough. So after a lot of advice from different car enthusiasts and mechanics, a BEAMS swap seemed like the perfect option. Hence begins a father son project. Some main mechanical and visual objectives of the project:

4th Gen Grey Top BEAMS swap
5-Speed Manual trans
Wire tuck and bay cleaning
Aftermarket intake
Upgraded brakes
New bigger rims and wider tyres
Bumper extensions or possibly whole new bumpers
Crystal Headlights
Interior changes
Grille replacement
Other small changes to augment the car's look
And finally, going to get the whole car wrapped or if budget allows, then painted.

Wish us luck, and I hope to get help if I'm stuck at any point (which I will because this is our first project). We have selected a mechanic for the swap and now the hunt for the engine begins
Progress is going to be dead slow due to exams and father's busy work life. SORRY about that!

Try sourcing a red top vvti 3sge beams,I saw one in sultan ka koh sone time and that thing was a beauty.Came with polished internals ,Hks intake and uncut wiring and ecu he was demanding around 110k back then.
Make sure to get the completely un cut wiring along with the fuse box.geting all the error codes removed properly might be the biggest issue you face.

Current engine bay looks really clean despite the odo reading and its age.

If i was you i would keep everything each and every single nut and bolt with me you never know when you might need it for project cars in mere future

Thank you so much bro. I will try the one you're talking about, but everyone says to prefer a grey top because they mostly come with automatic hence ( us ne red top jitni maar nhi khayi hoti ). indeed thats a valid point all depends on the engine you get.no point of getting a beaten up 3sge
one more thing i would like to mention about the engines available locally majority of people will say these are imported from japan bla bla dont trust them.i found that first thing to check if engine is from japan is to look at the oil filter its usually written on them where the engine came from.
was thinking you would want manual

I went to get the other car's rims changed, and witnessed this happening. Do you think that brake callipers should be painted with regular spray paint? I'm sure they get hot enough for paint to burn. I heard that high heat primer is used for that. And who paints their disk rotor???
I'm asking because I plan to do this in the future. The right way of course lol

Nice! I have liked these Coronas since I was I n school and these were in service. Brigadiers were issued these vehicles. Solid machines with a lot of potential.

I bought 3SGE and had to return it. Left and right foundations were not matching. It's not a bolt on. How did you manage to swap it without any alteration? Also issue in axles...
