Hi Guys,
Back in July 2012 I purchased my new Toyota Corolla XLi - 2012 model, it was a brand new car.
But since the time I have purchased this vehicle I am not pretty much satisfied by it's mileage, it's giving me around 11.5 Km/Litre within the city without AC, I am running it totally on Patrol, I do not remember exactly about it's mileage when I was running it on AC but I guess it was round about the same.
When I visited Toyota Walton motors and asked their mechanics about any tips to improve the fuel economy, they said I need to use High Octane fuel as it will improve the fuel economy, I did it but it's not much of a difference. I see that the economy gets improved when you are really soft at the acceleration paddle, it rises above to about 14.5 to 15 Km/litre but believe me driving like that you will feel that you are sitting in the slowest vehicle of the road.
Any tips of suggestions from you geeks on how to improve this fuel economy? Suggestions are most welcome and the advisers would be shown special gratitude..
LOL
