Toyota Corolla 2013 1.6 70k Km Engine Oil Recommendation

Salam my fellow Pakwheelers. I have a 2013 altis 1.6 which is driven 70,000 km first hand by me. Maintained by toyota and currently on 20w50 toyota petron.
Kindly suggest if i should keep putting 20w50 or change to a 10w or 5w as i will not be getting further oil change from toyota and if 20w , then kindly recommend a brand other than toyota petron.

Shift to 10w40 if there is no problem then 10w30 then if no issues in using it then use 5w30 full synthetic.I personally am using Shell Hx5 10w40 in my Indus Corolla and am satisfied with it.Oil cost was 2680 rupees for 4 litres pack.

At what mileage did the dealership started pouring 20w50 in your car?

Even illetrate mechanics don't advise to switch to this oil grade at such low mileage.

20w50 is too heavy for this engine. Switching to slightly lower viscosity at this mileage wouldn't cause an issue. I switched from 20w50 at 110k to 10w40 on my 1.3 2010 corolla and switched to 5w30 at 145k Kms without any issue. Best oil for you considering price and performance would be quartz 9000 energy 0w40 that's available on total official darazmall store at a good discount at rs4350. Only one piece is remaining so I'd advise you to get that soon before it goes out of stock. It's an actual group 4 pao synthetic so it's pretty much the best for that price. You can get 10 percent credit card discount on Monday on daraz too.

5W-30 or 10W-30 is good for PKDM Toyota EFI engines. Buy only from known lubricant shop. Prefer to buy from Drum seller that will cost you less and chance of fake product is less. Shell Aisin PSO Mobil Havoline can be trusted.

Well yes there's that too. OP can take a look at daraz current automobile products sales and buy something appropriate from a darazmall seller to be sure of originality.
