Can any past/present owners share their current fuel mileage for the above car?

I am getting 270kms for 50litre of Hi-Octane/Shell V Power in Karachi.

Works out to be 5.4km/l

Is that normal for this car?

Have carried out engine tuning, new spark plugs and air filter.

Any suggestions to improve the mileage would be highly appreciated

Doing some random searches online, saw recommendations of having the O2 sensor changed, even if its not giving an engine check light currently.

Thoughts?

My friend has the 2008 model camry and it does 12km-liter. But since yours is the older version with the older gearbox you might be getting a bad average. I suggest getting the gearbox swapped with new one if its possible.

what is odometer reading and when was last Transmission fluid change.

100,000kms - recently bought so don't think previous owner changed it. Will changing it help fuel economy?

sure Change the transmission fluid & filter BOTH. Pull out the transmission dip stick clean and read the fluid type mentioned [ punched /embosed ] on it. Thats' the fluid type you need in the transmission

May be you need Toyota Transmission Fluid Type T-IV

It's very bad. I had a Camry 2004 Automatic transmission with 200000+ km on ODO and it did 8 to 10 in city and 12 on motorway.

how is that bad? its a 2400cc car, it can't drink fuel like a cd70.
Thats like expecting a grown person to survive on milk, not gonna happen
