Salam to all! I want your suggestion about Toyota Allion 2007(new shape) or 2008-09 either 1.5 or 1.8.I am planning to keep it for more than 5 years as a family car. My concerns are:1) Spare parts availability and costs.2) Periodic Maintenance costs.3) Resale (Not a very big issue but still should not break my money to a huge extent).Suggest me keeping in view of my concerns.I also want to know the current market value of this car in all variants.Also compare the fuel consumption of 1.5 & 1.8 variant.Please also list the differences between all it's packages in 1.5 & 1.8 variants.Thanks! Your suggestions would be highly appreciated.
My cousin got allion 2010/13 A15 G, from last 3 years. A luxury sedan for better than corolla etc. Spare are easily available here in peshawar and cheaper than premio. He is getting around 11 in city and 15~16 on highway, pick is quiet good. My close friend got A18 2008 which is good in term of pick and consumption compared to A15. Consumption is better coz of gear ratio,A18 2008 or 2009 model mint condition cost around 18 ~20 lacs. If u want allion then go for A18 valve matic,

From april 2010 premio n allion revised the engine by replacing 2zr fe with valvematic 2ZR~FAE engine.Only available in A18 and A20.

I don't know if it is available in allion but there is a valvematic 1zr-fae (1.6) as well, i am only saying that it exists

2008 A18G cost us 1875000, full genuine b2b 4 months ago.
2010 A18 valvematic would be around 22 lacs i guess,
2010 A18 would be out of my budget so i think 2008-09 A18 or A15. What will u recommend regarding fuel efficiency 1.5 or 1.8? (Performance is not the concern)
I have driven both a15 and a18, A18 is more fun to drive and more ecnomical than A15 on motorway coz of gear ratio. In local A15 give better milage. Both in av there is a very small difference b/w 1.5 and 1.8. Valvematic A18 is more ecnomical then A15 for sure. Go for A18,
