Thinnest gear oil for alto VXR

AoA,
I need the thinnest viscosity gear oil for Alto vxr 11, to get rid of gear grinding sound at cold start.

The ZIC store recommended me G-FF 75W-85, with the viscosity of 177.

Other viscosities available in ZIC store are 104, 160, and 155.

Will G-FF (VI: 177) work for my car?
Do I need to add Liquimoli antifriction MOS2 with it?

This is viscosity index, not viscosity. Zic Gear FF is very good gear oil,

Can you clarify the grinding noise is at cold start or when you shift gear after cold start?

@Farhansa bro I am having the same issue of some strange noise at a cold startup, and no noise when I press clutch, and it vanishes after 5-10 mins ride. Mechanic says its gear oil or gear oil seal problem... Please tell me if it really is or clutch problem. Plus, I have startup issue in my alto that is not resolving, doesn't start without the choke. Gear shifting and transmission is not hard. However, when the engine is cold, there is a grinding/hissing kind of sound, which stops when I press the clutch. After 5-10 min of ride it goes away.
Hassan bhai told me its pilot bearing sound. Local mechanics said i need to rebuild the gear box from kharadia. Some said it will be reduced by changing the gear oil to a thinner viscosity.

The grinding noise is just at the cold start, there is no change in the sound while changing gears. But this sound stops temporarily by pressing the clutch. After engine warm up, the sound goes away.

That noise is too much end float on the countershaft. No amount of oil change will fix that. Its usually louder in winter because stuff shrinks when cold.

When the clutch pedal is up and transmission is in neutral the gearshafts are spinning but as no gear set is engaged, no drive is going out. When you press the clutch pedal in, the pressure plate lifts up releasing the friction plate which in turn causes the transmission shafts to stop spinning.

So the only solution is to repair the tranny or replace the shaft? Any specfic part or bearing?

Ideally you tear down the transmission, replace the case bearings and set the endfloat again with the selective shims as the manual suggests.

For a shocker, go ask bearing prices. And you will need gear oil resistant sealant.
