Yes, and after this time, who is going to provide support for it? The other group most likely won't and neither would GUGO.

Introducing the Inverex XIO EV – where clean energy meets smart mobility!

100% Electric ,Backed by Inverex Solar

Coming Soon!

------------------------------

Inverex Leads Pakistan’s Green Revolution with Electric Vehicles and Next-Gen Solar Innovations

Inverex, a frontrunner in Pakistan’s solar energy sector, is making a groundbreaking leap into the electric vehicle (EV) market—becoming the first Pakistani solar company to do so. This strategic move reinforces Inverex’s mission to promote clean energy and reduce the country’s dependence on fossil fuels.
The landmark announcement was made during an exclusive event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where Inverex unveiled its latest innovations to a packed audience of clean energy stakeholders, including Pakistani dealers, installers, contractors, and renewable energy advocates. The company showcased a wide range of cutting-edge products designed to optimize solar energy solutions in Pakistan.

Ahmed Shariq, Head of Solar Solutions at Inverex, emphasized the urgent need to address climate change and reduce the transportation sector’s carbon footprint. Inverex’s upcoming EV lineup includes affordable electric two-wheelers and four-wheelers equipped with high-voltage DC charging systems, compatible with both home and commercial setups. These vehicles will offer impressive ranges of 140 km, 220 km, and 320 km per charge for cars, and 80 km to 170 km for bikes—catering to the mobility needs of middle-income households.

Inverex is strong in solar area.

However, is this yet another substandard, cheap and fragile china EV? Or something quality?

If it was quality I guess we would have heard about it like BYD? @ifadey what do you know about this brand and model.

Range is too low, point-to-point car.

This looks good !

Good enough for within city travelling, I love EVs for within city travelling.

All the more reason to buy it, I wonder if it will have features along with their inverters or some special mode ~ features, reports via inverex app car battery usage/health/ charging/units ~ cost. Other cool features, they can get creative with it.

Only time & usage will ans that question. DC chargers @ home, wow!

This is city only car. Range is adequate for city driving. This vehicle is called Lingbox BOX Cai Wenji in China. The good part is it supports DC fast charging unlike Honri. The bad part is ground clearance is too low 121 mm only.

Cannot comment on quality and long term reliability.

Ground clearance on almost all small EVs is really low for PK.
Dongfeng box, BAW Brambi, DFSK Volt are all decent for what I have read. Honri dealer said it need 5k service for motor oil change. I cannot believe it, that is the whole point of EVs.

That's not motor oil. It's reducer oil and yes it needs to be changed at 5000 km or 6 months (whichever comes first) for the first time. After that the change interval is long i.e. 50,000 km or 24 months. This is for Honri.

You are right. GC of all small EVs is very less. Not sure why. Only Volt has slightly better 150mm

Dongfeng confirms Chawla Green Motors as exclusive distributor with BOX EV launch in Pakistan

Dongfeng’s all-electric BOX made its official debut in Lahore, Pakistan, earlier this year in collaboration with Chawla Green Motors—the company’s exclusive authorized distributor for the country. The launch event, which was the automaker’s largest right-hand drive rollout to date, introduced two variants of the BOX EV: the LUX 430 and the Flagship 430.

Dongfeng has now publicly reaffirmed Chawla Green Motors as its sole local partner via its official Facebook page, settling any ambiguity over who holds exclusive rights to distribute its EV lineup in Pakistan. The announcement solidifies the partnership’s strategic role in leading the country’s shift toward electric mobility.

The LUX 430 is priced at Rs. 6,400,000, while the Flagship 430 comes in at Rs. 6,800,000. Bookings are open with an advance payment of Rs. 1,500,000. Immediate delivery is available for selected colors, while other options may require a wait of 40 to 50 days.

The five-door hatchback measures 4,030mm in length, 1,810mm in width, and 1,570mm in height, with a 2,660mm wheelbase. Both variants are powered by a 70 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor and a 42.3 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, offering up to 430 km of range and a top speed of 140 km/h.

Charging options include a standard 6.6 kW AC charger and DC fast-charging capability, allowing for an 80% charge in just 30 minutes. The vehicle is covered by a four-year/150,000 km warranty and an eight-year/200,000 km battery warranty.

The Kia EV3 Has Been Named 2025 World Car Of The Year

Electric and hybrid cars swept the World Car Of The Year Awards in New York this year, with two Hyundai Motor Group EVs winning accolades.

The New York Auto Show saw the Kia EV3 take home the prestigious 2025 World Car of the Year award. The jury was composed of 96 journalists from around the world, including Alessandro Lago, director of Motor1 Italia and InsideEVs Italia, and also awarded prizes to the following categories: World Electric Vehicle, World Luxury Car, World Performance Car, World Urban Car and World Car Design.

At 4.3 meters long, the EV3 can be chosen with two different battery sizes, 58 or 81 kWh, with a 204-hp motor and a range of 414 or 605 km. The EV3 is expected to finally go on sale in the U.S. in 2026. It is currently produced in South Korea, although where the U.S. model will be built remains an open question.

insideevs

It seems that Gugo Box version was better priced. Chawla are taking a decent premium of the sole distributorship. It has put me off already. I cannot figure out much ordering information about BAW or Volt anywhere.

Inverex EV showrooms billboard has been light up on main shara e faisal next to Honda and Hyundai, Which is EX Kia showroom

Carpenter and Electric works are on way. So this seems promising.

Gugu and Gaga or even Rinco Aria they are all being sold on ghost showrooms I guess. I have yet to see any display centre's.

I've heard of a Honri display centre next to BYD korangi.

With the 9 million BYD Atto 3, Suddenly EVs seem to be attainable.

I hope BYD can bring the smaller seagull and Dolphin

I have the Atto. Hence looking for a smaller school run vehicle for day time distruction derby aka Karachi driving. Honri next to BYD is authorised dealer and was not the distributor. Was also a little unsure about specs and other info. Saw the Inverex location being built yesterday. Looks big. EVs are here.

Seagull would be great and will kill Suzuki and possibly be the default taxi instead of Mira.

The Honri has factory defects with regards to it's suspension. This might be fixed in the next month or so. Till then, steer clear of it. Also, the product itself seems to be of inferior quality.

Fingers crossed, hope we get more competition in this EV price bracket.

Honri, Gugu, Gaga, even chawalas DFSK are all timely gimmicks.

Unless a promising group brings EVs. I'd steer clear even the SERES sounds skeptical to me. Altho SERES Has a very prominent presence in UAE.

But the group backing it in Pakistan (Prince group) doesn't sounds very attractive.

Even JETour with United group isn't very appealing.
