HI TO ALL KINDLY PLEASE TELL ME THE BEST SCHOOL IN ISLAMABAD FOR MY DAUGHTER SHE IS 2 AND A HALF YEAR OLD. I AM COMING FROM ENGLAND. I DON WANT TO PUT HER IN BEACON HOUSE AS I STUDIED THERE AS WELL NOT HAPPY AT ALL. DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT ISOI SCHOOL ITS AN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL. DO LET ME KNOW PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

you can try ACE in Bahria Town Rawalpindi, but its lil bit expensive

Headstart
There is a new school in F-8 with the name
Escual Junior (I don't recall the correct name). I heard it's standard is also good.
there are few more, which you can try. My kids are studying / studied in these schools, so I can confirm these as good schools

Parents can guide best but of what i know Beaconhouse has been leading in the academic field for years. and yes, your words have reminded me the two months i spent crying every morning. in fact abu was once telling when returning to Isb from a weekend i would burst crying at the sight of Faisal Mosque because that meant school city was here. ugh.

other options include headstart, frobels, icas, isas, etc.

Hi thanks i had a look at its website. It seems to me an appropriate school i don worry about money but the quality should be excellent.

Hi thanks to all for helping me do u know anything about lahore grammar school and international school of islamabad. I did not see much good comments about frobels and Beaconhouse straight away no. As to everyone who believes beacon house is a good school i want to disclose to u that only a bachelors pass lady in fine arts who never had any information or experience in teaching was teahing O levels C1 ,C2 i am much suprised about its standard and i am a beaconite as well still i hate it no standard at all. ACE as one of the person replied to me seems to be good i called in morning for information, money not a probs as we earn for our children. Frobels i heard not a good reputation. My cousin is a principal there but not heard a good repu. please guide me more thanks to all once again

Preparatory School Islamabad in the Diplomatic Enclave is another option. going there and returning is a hassle owing to security concerns but education and otherwise training of kids is superb. Umber baji's all four kids studying there since childhood.

I would suggest to go for an average school. In a so called expensive school, your kids will learn everything they don't need to. What matters is the standard of studies and discipline, nothing else.

well yes froebels of isl is good as far as ive heard from my frnd who studies there but her dad tells my dad that they charge for different things with no reason! n yea bss sucks now! i was in lgs previously n have changed my skul now n im in bss which is the worst skul!it has only name now, no standard neither discipline!

hi ashes i too came frm england with 6 kiddies hv been her for almost 3 years nw . hv been to 4 different skools i hv kids from age 13 to 5. frm our experience beacon frobels city roots etc etc r no different frm state schools in England those skools r for spoilt brats will ill manners, at least bk home in british kids have manners. However ur best school will be HEADSTART defently.

If money really ain't a matter, the best option is Ace academy, no match...
For first grade onwards, I will advice you Siddique Public school 6th Road Rawalpindi. No match for their discipline and quality of teaching.... another option is presentation convent lal kurki Rawalpindi. Their standard is also good!

the international school of Islamabad (ISOI)is a waste of money
PSI is the worst school as all the education is homework based

Froebels isn't too bad but as an ex student i can tell you there are better choices

ICAS (new campus) is not bad at all
headstart is decent
LGS in ISB isn't bad either
treehouse is a good school
TLC is a decent preschool (my kids went there)

my suggestion is to look at TLC (F-8), or treehouse for someone of this age group.

If you are looking for a school that has a good standard and is culturally/traditionally inclined then try Oxbridge International Grammar in F11. This is a British standard/style school. It also offers very good discipline and Islamic studies and is run by admistration from U.K.
