Suzuki XL-7 has been launched

The advertisement for XL-7 appeared in yesterday's newspapers by Pak Suzuki. The prices were not mentioned though.
Now I am sure some of you will call it a **** SUV and others will call it the best car to ever have come to Pakistan.

XL-7 is definitely better than Sportage.

I dont think anybody should go for this stupid looking XL-7 if it comes for near to amount 3million rupees.A Rexton is much better then this one.as REXTON is Designed by ITALDESIGN(ITALY),Powered by MERCEDES(GERMANY) and assembled/made by SSANGYONG(KOREA).and who dont know ITALDESIGN which design supercars for many companies including LAMBORGHINI.and a MERCEDES engine and best of all is the price ,starting from 2.8million PKR.isnt this one a better deal..?

Price of Suzuki XL-7 is too much in my opinion. Rs 2350,000 for Manual 2450,000 for Auto.

No, this is not the first SUV to be launched in Pak. We already have a locally assembled Kia Sportage. In addition, Mitsubishi Pajero, Nissan Patrol, Nissan X-Trail, Toyota Prado, Toyota LandCruiser, BMW X-5 have already been formally launched by their respective authorized distributors in Pakistan.
And yes, we have locally assembled LandRover Defender as well.

seems better than other suzukis but i observed some space/seat arrangement issues in it. complaining, though one of my friends don't like it but this is how i felt.

I have driven XL-7 in US as my uncle owns it. It has a pretty nice ride and pretty comfortable for a long ride. However its not made for offroading. Once i took it over a little bit of dirt road and you could really feel the ghadas in the dirt road. You will literrally bounce up.

Well, I had this car for one year here in Melbourne.. I found it really nice. Excellent built quality, & exquisite highway ride. I had the XL-7 7 seater V6 petrol engine. This car is an excellent value for money. I mean, I bought it for $34,000 (1 Australian Dollar ~ 44 Pak Rs) while a Prado started at around $54000 brand new. The XL-7 has all the amneties and luxuries u could think of. Excellent value for money. I once took it for a 14 hr drive and I loved it. It is a lot lot better and refined than the shitty sportage we've got in Pakistan. Its from a totally new breed of cars.
Well I agree that PakSuzuki SUX!!!!! Bloody looters.. having the same F****** Shitty Mehran for the past bloody 20 years. Carburaters are obsolete in the rest of the world... Its EFI and MPFG all over.. but these moroons at Paksuzuki are unwilling to introduce a replacement for the Mehran. But I mean why would they... people still buy that peice of shit and are happy... & Paksuzuki is makin profit..
I hope thay keep XL-7 at a reasonable price... Around Rs 1500,000 would be reasonable for the car. Anything more would be an overprice.. but Hey!!!! all cars in Pakistan are 40-60% overpriced anyway aren't they..

Hey ehteshan123. Nice to see a brother here from Florida. I am from Orlando. My uncle has this XL-7 and he bought it last September. When the hurricanes were coming, he packed up his entire family and took it all the way up to Washington (some 3000miles). He already has 24000 miles on it in less than a year. Pretty nice car by the way. But i agree that the front could use some work. He bought is for $32,000 with leather interior, wood trim, heated seats, and 4WD.
