Suzuki VX, VXR, VXL

hi

i'm almost overwhelmed by these categorization. i'm making a buying decision (new cars by leasing), may be alto or mehran because they're cheap.

1. what is the exact differences among VX, VXR and VXL (for mehran, alto, and cultus)

2. what is the difference between new mehran and the new alto, apart from the shape. (the price difference, almost 1 lac between the two is driving me crazy)

3. i've heard that built-in air-conditioning provided by suzuki (specially for mehran/alto) sucks! is that true ?

4. what are the correct estimates for the CNG preformance of these cars (mehran, alto, cultus) ... in rupees/kilometer.

1- vx model which is available in all three hasnt got ac or matching bumper. vxr has ac and matching bumper. vxl only comes in cultus which is powersteering power windows central locking.
2- simple.. alto is a 1000 cc car whereas mehran is 800cc.
3- it doesnt exactly suck from my point of view. na hoone se tho behtar hai. but it is a fact in cng with ac on the car goes at a snails pace. but hondas and toyotas ac r much better.
4- i dont know the answer to ur fourth question. some body else can give u that answer or a better answer to above 3 questions.

ya thats right on 800 cc car an AC low down performance very much .... but on 1000 cc AC works fine and doesnot effect performance even on CNG ..
my suggestion if u can afford dont go for mehran go for an ALTO

thanks uq and rizwi for the replies i visited suzuki dealer just after posting my question and he tries to sell me either mehran or the cultus, and he tries everything to avoid alto. i can't understand why. strangely, he was more biased towards bank al falah leasing, and lesser towards ubl (although the interest rate of bank al falah is more). any ideas ?
