Suzuki Alto 2019 VX A/C installation problem

Dear All, by chance I booked and have been delivered local Suzuki Alto VX version. I wanted to install A/C in it and found from suzuki dealership mechanic that there is no A/C wiring available. As you know in Mehran VX version Suzuki use to give complete A/C wiring so that one can install A/C after market as well.

But in this case you guys know that Suzuki alto has ECU installed in it and A/C wiring must be connected with ECU of the car . also that ECO must be programmed to support air conditioner. So points are.

1-If there is no wiring present for A/C means that ECU is also not programmed to support A/C. and Suzuki is not expected to provide original A/C soon.

2-i got my alto checked from Local A/C mchenic, he says that we can install A/C without help of ECU which will cost arould 38K,

but here is the question.? when we switch ON the A/C than the ECU slightly increase the RPM/race of the engine and so that engine could bear the load of A/C.
If A/C is not connected with ECU than ECU will not increase race of engine that will make engine overheat and that will lead to greater problems.

Please share what can be the best solution for this.
Also keep in mind that i dont want to ruin car warrenty.

Dont do it. Not recommended at all. Even if you have registered the car sell it on profit and get vxr. This is a very sensitive car to mods. People still dont understand jdm ones
Ecus over the time have become smart and any panga will give you problems. Bear in mind you will completely void cars warranty. No point spending on a car 1 million anc then taking it to electricians and mechanic everyday. A new car should he trouble free no mater who works on it after shredding wires that too going down the ecu will be forever pain in the butt.

Very sad to know that a shit worth 1 million doesn't even supports AC. Just sell it and buy a VXR version or a used car, as advised by other senior members.

I'm wondering how the life would be in a car without ac? Like if you get to see some fog on screen, how will you clear it?
Usually i use AC to remove fog from screen.
What will you do if you leave your car in a naked sunny parking and it's boiling hot when you come back?
What will you do if you have to drive your car in the colds of December and January?

Its really a personal choice. No need to bash suzuki. Its about targeting different customers. One who does not want to spend money on vxl and vxr and find everything useless just like xli buyers.

Haha i don't think anyone's personal choice would be a vehicle worth 1 million without even wiring and programming of ECU.

Ecu can be programmed in 5 minutes. Not a big deal. Wirings are available Japanese used markets. Also called kabli.

Take it to Suzuki workshop, maybe they can install it and reprogram the ECU?

Look my take is that what you really need to be asking is whether this ECU can support AC or not wiring or no wiring. If it can than all you need to do is to visit spare market of your city, in Lahore its bilal Ganj and source for a JDM Alto AC. I think it should be available there. Buy that along with complete wiring and get it installed from someone who does AC work on electronic cars with ECU. The current generation Alto isnt some alien tech that will be beyond such alternations.
Alternatively what you can do is to wait this season out, let more and more cars come to the market, and maybe Suzuki itself would start installing AC. At the moment they wont do it because that would hamper the sales of VXR which beats the whole point of introducing VX and VXR separately.

In Europe or america climate is relatively cooler than Pakistan even then, no car is manufactured without AC because it is considered necessity not luxury. Unfortunately it happens in Pakistan because we buy 1 million worth car without Ac,

Our problem as a nation is that we confuse safety features with Luxury items.

Anyway back to your question, A person buy a new car so that he gets full support from manufacturer. If you install Ac in it, your car's warranty will be voided, no one will listen to you in case anything happens. Moreover, Ac needs to be optimized, in case of 3rd party installation, it would run continuously and affect the pick and mileage as well. So, It's better to sell it and buy new VXR, Or sale it and buy JDM alto, don't go for any alteration. Rest is upto you.

Same suggestion as all, Sell the vehicle, now the prices have already gone up so you will get better amount for at and buy VXR or JDM.

You will be spending 50 to 60 k and altering a lot of things and still a concern. the price difference between the two is 102k in that you get airbags and AC and it is worth it (only the difference).

However if you can manage to sell it at no loss then also you can put the amount into a JDM
