Someone Keyed/Scratched my car - Need Suggestions!

Hi guys, a few weeks back some twisted n sick **** keyed my Gli's bonnet and it's trunk while it was parked outside with slangs/bad words.

Please check the following pics:

The first few pics are of the trunk and the last three are of the bonnet

Showed it to a few local paint shops as well as Toyota Garden Motors and they said straight away that the scratches are deep so re-painting is required.

Is there any chance to fix this without repainting as everyone also telling me that the price will drop 50k-100k if repainted but I don't care about that much as I simply like my cars in original paint and even if I can reduce the visibility of these scratches by either compounding or putting some kind of clear sheet or something over them??? Also I can't leave it like this due to the slangs/bad words so need a fix.

Please advice what are my options experts

Try meguiars ultimate compound or scratch x it might able to solve ur problem

Already took his input and he said best is to get it re-painted, but wanted another way out of this mess

Bro the scratches are deep as per ppl I've shown it to, but if I do try these scratch removers is there any downfall??? I don't want them to make things worse u know

they will get less visible as u have light colour paint if ur not satisfied go for qalam paint touch up

You can hide (less visible) them to some extent by compounding but they will still be visible so in short, you can't remove them... -_-

not sure but will kalam work? (touchup pen) and later compound?

And such retards are everywhere, some one made a deep 6inchs scratch on rear fender, more than half of it is on fender and rest of the scratch continued to rear lights But in your case its worse since he wrote some crap. Are you sure you did not park it in such a way making problems for others?

Compound the scratches, that will reduce them as much as possible, then fill them with touch up paint, use very small amount of paint, I would use the tip of a toothpick gor this.

Leave it after filling, they will get better naturally

I can understand your feelings. Sorry for your loss. Similar incident happened to me few days ago in Anarkali. I was sitting in my car. Engine was running and parking lights were on too. A guy age 20-25 was coming from front. While he passed by my car I heard a squeezing sound. I thought for a while that what was that. Then I opened the door and checked . I was shocked, there was a line starting from middle of back door till tail light.
I ran to that person and caught him with an inch square piece of sharp metal in his hand.
He said that it was a mistake and he is sorry. But that couldn’t satisfy me so he got many slaps and kicks from me and that thing reduced my pain a lot.
Crazy people out there.

well served. I wonder how could he dare when car was start... may be he didn't see you. And i hate idiots who use bonnet as their writing board. I once almost had a fight with two uncles some 4 years ago. Instead of being sorry, they started arguing that what's the big deal bla bla

illiteracy at its peak! ppl actually do not realize wht they're doing. to them its just a walk in the park nd plucking a leaf while causing thousands of rupees damage for others

happened to me once, i used turtle wax compound and after half an hour of intense labor i was able to remove a single line from one door so gud luck with the compound option

Same happened with me few months back polished the affected area many times but still visible.

Repaint it - no other solution.

I've used normal permenant markers to make scratches like this to almost non-visible .. there are two requirements first the colour should be similar like in your case a silver marker, second the processes has to be repeated after a few months .. just follow the lines with marker (i use combinations like pencils, washable markers, normal thin markers,etc to get the right shade) and clean the excessive with a cloth .. it will settle inside the lines .. and it won't be visible for quite sometime like 3-4 months (this includes the routine washing and service) .. graduallt the color in marker starts to blend and scratches disappear .. i'll try to post a video .. my car door has a few scratces which need minor touching .. last job i did was on a friends Toyota Bb i hope he has some pics to show the difference .. i'll check and post here

If I do use compound or scratch removers, is there a chance of further ruining the effected areas???

Also will I have to be more cautious when washing the car afterwards???

How accurate will be the Qalam job in terms of colour matching, I've gotten it done a few times on my white Mehran and the colour dried to a greyish colour instead of white and looked worse than with scratches haha

problem is someone digged in swearing words.what ever u try to fill or cover the words wld stay.else qalam is commonly used in these cases.

u can stick the black sticker or carbon fiber thing on hood.
get these painted n take high resolution pictures.show the next buyer y u had to paint.
