I have got a question about solid audio amps that , are they any good compared to the branded amps. i have seen many users complimenting about its clearity and power compared to rockmars and other china crap. Ofcourse my friends arnt sq freaks but they say that they are way much better. i havnt yet gotten the leverage of checking it personally .. and they are much cheap.. i have seen the 2500 d going very cheap for 2500 rms @ 1 ohm .. i am really impressed.. any one can comment on that also .. plzz

solid audio company closed down a decade ago. its a company in pakistan that is still getting those made from china. all the "new" solid audio amps you see in market are fakes. they were not that great to begin with when they were original. can not be compared with branded stuff.

open up similar amps from caliber, solid audio, vtrek or other "famous" chinese brands and you will see same board being used in all of them

Well u r right .. infact i have seen boards of chinese amps and of all the amps that i own or used to own , the chinese boards are all alike same power supply section same crappy transisters .. but the board of solid audio is different from otherrs ... i havnt seen all of just seen 2500d and just by seeing it i am sure it will b able of producing over 2000 rms with some (may b very little or just below satisfactory) qualty as well.

and correction it gives 1800 rms @ 1ohms tested @ 100hz with out clipping, dont know about thd ratings but most probably 1% since its a mono .. so guys any comments on this perspective ??

Well i havent used or heard about sound magus from anyone yet so i cant say any thing about its performance..

how did u test it?

solid audio amp specs also mention they are capable of running at 18 volts...

Thats the exact thing . They actually have given some where near specs to its actual performance . Like dont know whether it works on 18v but i have tested it for a friend whom gives 15.8 16 volts to the amp and gives out 1792 rms @ 1ohms while playing 100 hz track @ 0db

And so far d f2500d users are quite satisfied from its performance . There is not much for quality bcz its mainly used for driving subs but still the specs i am sharing are uncertified.

bro suggest me a good amp and woofer as well for civic x it should produce good quality of bass one can fell it inside and outside of car
