I would like to know about the Sat Siri Mala lakes ........... where are they located exactly, how can one access it from Naran and what's the best time to visit. If anyone could share a past experience along with pics, that would be really helpful ...........

Thank you very much Mr.Asif for your informative and marvellous picture gallery, it surely helped me out .
So, how far is it from Gittidas and it accessible by jeep or only by foot and are there a total of 7 lakes over there.

Secondly regarding the evil possession ...... :eek:, what kind of illness did you feel going there and for what reasons local people refused. Did anything happen to someone before, any incident etc. ..........? I'm curious about it.

yar gitidas say just 2 hrs lagtay hain trekking kar kay to 1st (or last) lake. i hope u find a guide coz nobody is willing to go there. about evil possession i mite be wrong yar it cud be mere coincidence. u shudnt worry abt that. yes there r seven lakes. each lake is about 0.5 hrs to 1 hrs trek apart. i could only reach 4 coz of snow.

LOOK FOR GUIDE PERVEZ FROM BAISAL. NO GUIDE WILL GO WITH U FROM NARAN. U CAN STAY AT JALKHAD IN THAT TIN DABA HOTEL.

Hmm I see, do did the guide charge 4-5 K from Besal to that place and return ? Or did you mean 4-5 K from Naran ?

yar i meant total for the trip. actually har saal the number of ppl visiting naran is increasing exponentially coz of swat barrier and now even road has been made so i think all things r going 2 get more expensive.

bhai jaan.ap tou ho aye hein na..tou bata dein so that banda tayyari wagira kar kaye jaye na.i mean agar jin utarte hein tou banda blade,shaving cream etc laye kar jaye or agar pariyan tou phir shampoo,powder etc..

wahan kay locals bhe buhut shokeen hain qaiser tu shurkhe powder laga kar he jain. tera kharcha kam ho ga.

All i cared to keep fun factor light so that evrybdy could laugh abt, and not to start fight on such small things, that was my only intension here.

And I really appreciate ur efforts for putting that much info/pics regarding that area ....

thankx for understanding. ur rite anyways. all i want is to give max info to ppl so that they may benefit from my experience and i from there's. there is absolutely no other pictures available of sat siri mala lakes on internet. mine r the only ones(i have searched a lot). and the reason i have given this info that any1 who tries be ready for all contingencies, not that ppl make fun of it.

1 - I never disregarded any info.i merely asked for the details as to what kinda evil thing is there,in a lighter node.Which like always, u took in the wrong way.I guess u still haven't learned to read between the lines.
2 - If u were 'soo keen' on providing 'valid' info then u should have given the answer instead of accusing others of being stupid.
