I need some information about SAP certification..

1. its benefits

2. its Requirements, (is BBA or BCOM or any past education of banking and stuff is needed as i m a Computer Engineer , do i have to study some thing else first).?

3. Its duration and dues.

4. Its centers in Karachi..!!!

hi Brother,,

SAP market is very much saturated these days... as lot of people are getting certification. but not able to get jobs.... as there are fewer projects in the market... and for new projects experienced resources are available.... so its very difficult for a fresh certified person to get into a project these days.....
SIEMENS conduct the academy for SAP in karachi and islamabad... fees is around
5500 Dollars... duration is 1 month.. and then there is a paper you have to pass... you should be graduate to attend the academy... and you have to choose your module for certification e.g HR, FI, MM, SD, PM which is most suited to you.. and according to your education and experience......
I am a sap certified with 8 year of experience in SAP.

[I]1) If u passed SAP exam and have certification and min 2 to 3 years experience then u can easily get 3 to 5 lack per month in Europe not in pak. Here u can only n max get 40 to 60000.
2) No requirement.Sufficient knowledge of computer
3) Duration depends on ur training and one module cost u around 70 to 80,000 in private tuition from any SAP certified person.
4) U can find SAP training centers in Karachi like Siemens , Abacus etc. Both will provide u 20 to 25 days training of SAP any module u want and it will cost u only 4 to 5 Lack.

If u can bear training cost then go if not then there is another institute which is authorized and affiliated from SAP .it will provide u SAP E academy training in 45 to 90 days and cost 2.5 to 3.5 lack. check website Imperial Soft

Last option u have get private training from any SAP certified person.

after completing any module training then u have to sit and pass online SAP exam. Wid out SAP certification, ur study is useless. [/I]

Europe is already in financial crises..... and they are not giving any kind of immigration visas these days........ as in past there was HSMP for uk...... and no europium company sponsor these days.....

It is possible to obtain certificate in specific module ? like in FICO? and if a person is not looking for certificate but just want to obtain knowledge of specific module than what to do? Is private training any good? and how much private training cost for FICO module ?

Yes certification is specific... you have to select a module for certification that is relevant to your education and work experience.
Private training is of no use... you will not able to sit in certification paper...... and no one values it without certification.....

@alpayal Thanks for info. Well i am icma and FICO module is relevant to my profession n education. I am not really looking for SAP certification just want to get understanding of it ...

well i will be going to Canada on family immigration, and SAP certified have a great demand their, at petroleum organisations and others, fresh certified takes 60 to 90k dollars,

my brother have asked me to get the certification from here, and funds are not that much of a problem,

and i m a Computer Engineering Student graduating next year, INSHA ALLAH,so if u are getting started with SAP , what module is good for me.??

I think you should look for Accounting Firms that provide consultancy, do audits and implement ERPs; like in Lahore there is Ferguson. Do an internship or job there and acquire the Domain Knowledge. You can also do MS in Accounting / ERP subjects. HR, Project Management etc. Once you have the domain knowledge; learning SAP will be easy peasy...Its like you know the software development; Java or C#; its just nitties gritties....

I did MBA Finance and having 5 years of experience in Banking sector please anybody tell me which SAP module is fit for my career if i continues in Banking sector . And if i left banking sector and join some other sector like Power and Energy / Oil and Gas sector then which SAP Module is best for these sector to get in.....Please somebody guide me towards right decision.
