Rpm goes up and down at idle after throttle body cleaning

Dear all I need help.
I have Daihatsu Mira Gino 2006.
The rpm is fluctuating erratically from 800 to 2000 at idle (on parking) after I got throttle body cleaned. The mechanic opened it without removing battery.
I have tried removing battery for 12 hours but same issue.
I have driven car for about 100km in 2 days but same.
Do you think it's a calibration issue and do you think it's possible on my car as it has wired throttle but does have sensor.
And do you know any good computerized mechanic of Daihatsu for the same issue in Rwp/ ISB

The ECU is doing an idle relearn. Ideally the mechanic should have hooked it up to an obd scanner and done it. But don't worry it takes about a day or two. Will be fine after that. Or if you it fixed immediately go to any workshop who can hook it up to an obd scanner and fix it.

Each time you remove the battery the ECU will have to relearn idling again. So don't disconnect the battery

Now that is a very delicate issue. The same fault appeared in my Honda City 2014 (zero meter purchased) a and I was puzzled. Since I could not fined any one good reason for that. Anyways, when my mechanic failed to trace the issue I contacted the dealership. They just cleaned the throttle body and then performed a computerized interfaced operation called learning. They start your car and connect it with the laptop for about 20-25 minutes and the engine is calibrated. Since then the fault was gone as it never occured! The problem with Mira is that the Toyota dealerships don't have the software here in Pakistan as my father has that car I know. Donno how you gonna do it. Best of luck.

there is absolutely no need to take the TB off the car to clean it. there is no such machinery involved in a TB that needs "cleaning". ye bs dukaan chalany ka tareeka hy k g TB saaf kara lo, Cat con saaf kro lo. TB only has a IAC (mechanism that controls idling). other than that, its just a mechanical system to control air intake in the system. there literally is nothing to clean. cleaning of TB should only be done by just spraying a little TB cleaner on its throat and wipe it with a clean rag. that is it. air filter is there to keep the TB guarded from dust particles.

Brother try Hi-Octane in your car, this problem will automatically be resolved. I'm sure you are using regular petrol in your car. Actually the burning rate (combustion power) of Hi-Octane is higher than regular petrol. Japanese cars engines need more purified petrol due to the sensors. When we use regular petrol the sensors get choked. After thorough cleaning of the throttle body the sensor get cleaned. Now it need more purified petrol.
