The main reason for my love with the new civic was these aftermarket audi style headlamps. But once I bought those I realized that I have made a big mistake and spent 30K on lights with terrible visibility and output. So I ordered morimoto mini h1 6.0 projectors through my cousin and decided to do a retrofit. I was quite nervous as this was my first retrofit.
I am really impressed by the performance of these projectors, Truly night turned into day without creating nuisance for on coming traffic.
Currenlty I have chinese hid kit installed, but these awesome projectors deserve a high quality hid kit. So I have ordered Morimoto Elite HID kit, which I hope will reach next month.
Here are some steps and pics which I managed to take during the process. Although its not perfect but I did my best, Still there is always room for improvement.
My main concern was opening the headlamps. Got an old box and fitted two hairdryers on sides. After approx 7-10 min. I began prying opening the headlights. Takes a little bit of patience.

The high beam reflector and its projector are mounted on a single bracket.

The reflector bowl of mini h1 is bigger than the originals and also they are not purely elliptical. The top half is bigger than the bottom half.

So I got the shape of the bowl cut onto a separate plate and then bolted it to existing bracket.

The main concern was adjusting the rotation of the projector. Which actually took a lot of time.

So after double checking everything put them back on.

The final result.

Some comparison with the oem civic projector running halogens. The hid are 35W 6000K.

Put everything back together. The bixenon solenoid is also connected to highbeam.

Mini H1 6.0(Left) vs (Bad Quality Ones)(Right)

The reflector bowl tells the difference.

The total cost of the projectors is around $190 which includes
2x Morimoto Mini h1 6.0(RHD) = $120
2x B-Stock Mini h1 6.0(LHD) = $50
Quite frankly I cannot tell the difference between B-Stocks and Regulars. There appears to be absolutely no difference in quality or performance between these two.
I am planning to install B-stocks in fog lights.
