Required Hyundai Excel suggestion / opinion

Hello Felows,

Please suggest me about Hyundai Excel, is it still a good choice?

I'm getting one in final 270,000 - bumper to bumper original in white color, 2001 registered 1st owner.

I don't have budget more than 3 or 3.5 k, and small cars like mehran/khyber is not adjustable with us.

Help me if this car can be a good ride, fuel consumption, parts availability etc, any other headache you can tell me?

the 8 valv engine is not very fuel efficient

but u shld feel lucky to find a decent car in this budget

I was told that at the end of scheme, people got this ride painted from company. Means that's not right.
Secondly, is there big difference in fuel efficiency as compared to 12 or higher valve engine?

Seriously, due to some issues I'm stuck with this budget, sold cultus vxl, bought santro, sold santro, now troubling in low budget !

Paint issue is confirmed, yes it's hardly driven no accident history I've checked as well.

Apart from resale value thing, is Suzuki Margalla good choice than hyundai excel?

suzuki's like khybers/margala's work like a gem on cng n thr power to weight ratio is excellent
since u r in sindh.i think cng would not shut down in winters.

however thr fuel avg's on petrol would suck

hyund for its body and comfort-engine parts would be expensive
margala for its better pick-resale-better cng/fuel consumption

Go for Margalla or Corolla 86.
